Course Curriculum Overview

5

Our course is not just a course like any other thing. It has every aspects of accounting and finace and economics as well. So, one just have to go for the kill as studies are tough and in a college where studies are given so much of inportance the course definitely goes well too. Exams as per MU, December and May is how our final semesters exams happens.

Internships Opportunities

5

Manh as i am in film society, so films production houses gave us opportunty. I am still in the first year so, i was aksed to prepare prompters and all. Hence it was more of craft activity then related to my course. For those who are interested in core things they also have opportunities to intern with Rustomjee Group or Venture Capitals to name a few.

Placement Experience

5

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.

Fees and Financial Aid

12600 is the fees for general category boys and for general category girls its 10000. So girls get 20% scholarships irrespective of their class or anything. For studemts of lower class Maharashtra Government has taken great care by waiving off their fees totally as even though its a private institute, we still have such a less fees that anybody can easily pay.

Campus Life

5

MCC which is Mithibai Cultural Committee of whcih i am also a part is amazing. The Mithibai Film Society which has produced many actors and all is again a top society. So, societies like these are very much active and gives students enough chance to think and make their CV better. Now we have playrooms, gym and library on some or the other floors as our college is a mere building full of event.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hoatel are pff campus and NM college and other college's of the trust are also eligible for the hostel. Hostel is at a walking distance from the campus and also facilities are 5 star. AC rooms, attached washrooms, clean and hygenic mess and games room. Only the intime is strict as on weekdays its 9 pm and on Saturdays its 11 pm.

Admission

Yes, i have taken admission through management quota as 10% seats ate through that and rest all merit based. My percentage were low and so getting direct admission was impossible. the caption fees for management quota is high but i wanted to be a part of this college no matter what and here i am studying in the college of my dreams.

Faculty

4

Its easy to interact with the teachers they are supportive in studies. Our each subject have at least 5 teachers which is good for the students and all the teachers are really good in terms of teaching.

Night Life

5

Juhu Beach and also airport is nearby. City's top 5 star hotels to top cafe and restaurants are here. Many bollywood actors building and bungalows are nearby. From Amitabh Bachchan to Ajay Devgan are all close to our campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very good on paper. University has given like 8 subjects from which we have to choose 5. But this college itself chooses 5 subjects and students now have to learn only them ... Like in 3rd year sem 5 there was subject international finance I wanted to study that because baf course is all about finance but the college had subject management. So yeah be prepared for this. My colleges reputation is not that great because other city students come too. So for about teaching it's average

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is recommended for the students who want to pursue a career in the finance field or if someone who is looking to a course like CFA, this bachelors degree becomes handy. This course teaches you about the financial spectrum of the whole world and gives you an intricate understanding about different financial instruments and their relevance in the society. It teaches one of the most sought after skills in today's world, that is financial literacy. Still I think some of the subjects introduced under the NEP are completely irrelevant such as EVS and IKS. We as college students need to give quality time on some professional subjects, not that these subjects are not important but they need to be emphasised in the early classes. There are three internal exams of 10 marks each and 20 minutes for each paper. The end sem exam is of 30 marks for minor subjects and 60 marks for major subjects. Also I feel that the difficulty level is okay.
