Application Procedure
- A student passing the H.S.C. examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and eligible for admission to the First Year shall apply to the registrar of Mumbai University for a certificate of enrolment through the college. Application forms for enrolment along with the statement of H.S.C marks, passing certificate, leaving certificate, copies thereof, and necessary fees are to be submitted at the time of filling the admission form in the College.
- Students who have passed from other than the Maharashtra State Board/University of Mumbai should apply for a provisional statement of Eligibility at the time of their admission. Such students should submit the required form with the original and photocopies of their mark sheet.
Selection Procedure
- Students should register online at the University of Mumbai Digital University Website for the course in which they are interested under the Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai College of Arts, Commerce and Science, New Panvel link.

Exams are moderate to difficult; studying a day before exam may pass you but wont provide you with good marks unless if thats what you want. Most of the faculties have more than 15 years of experience in teaching and most of them are Phd holders or post graduates in the particular field of research. The department is one of the oldest in Mumbai and is honored as top 3 microbiology department in India by the microbiologist`s society of India.
