My course is very good. It is well disciplined with lots of technologies and an upgraded system in the course. Seventy-five percent of the course is based on practical and lab research.
There are some good internship opportunities in IT, as well as in some government organizations that offer them.

Dislikes

We were not offered any internship program in any organization, nor did any company visit our college in this regard.
If the student has individual skills in the campus drive, they got placed. However, the other poor students didnt even get a chance of placement from the college, and we didnt get any opportunity.

Amazing experience

Likes

College is strict but on the safer side it’s good for us
I like the college campus and there is no ragging in our college

Dislikes

The attendance should me maintained else we will have to pay 4000 and attend classes and clear the exam
There are very less events conducted in our college

Chemical engineering is quite harder than computer science engineering but we have interesting things to do with products such as Coca Cola company, Pepsi, cement, and cosmetics etc. It helps in research and development centre where we can innovate new products and launch based idea

An overview of MVJCE

Likes

Library of the college is well maintained and they have a check in system.
The classrooms are well maintained and the benches are well maintained.

Dislikes

There is no cafeteria in the college and it's very uncomfortable to chill in the college.
The student life isn't that great but manageable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well versed and it's according to the 2022 scheme. The curriculum makes you smart and knowledgeable enough to be good at your core subjects ,but the skills required for a job should be learned by the student itself ,that's how it is in every college.

Decent college for Computer science and design

Likes

faculties are really good and supportive for my branch
even if attendence is less than 85% not an serious issue like other colleges

Dislikes

management is too strict , they prioritize faculties over students.
less placement opportunities , no proper tecnical placement training for our batch.

Placement Experience:

from 6 th semester the students become eligible for campus placements the companies which visited till now are MUsigma,cognizant,accenture,NTT data highest package till now offered is by cognizant of 6lpa average will be 4lpa till now ascessments are still going on so no data about the percentage of students getting placed my plan after engineering is to do masters in cse

An overview about MVJCE

Likes

The infrastructure and maintenance of the college campus. The library has a check-in point where you can scan the your id cards.
The teaching of the faculty is really great ,they use projectors to give us a visual representation of the modules of our subjects.

Dislikes

Maintenance of the college canteen, the chairs are broken and bent ,it is dusty and not well maintained.
There is no cafeteria in our college ,which is a problem for students.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are pretty average and i do not have an idea of the companies that visit my college for placements as I am a 2nd year student . My elder brother is in 4th year in the same college ,and according his experience many companies do not visit our college.

The Infrastructure quality is best and the cleanliness is always maintained
Almost 80% teachers are Ph.D. holders and they teach properly

Dislikes

The rules are very strict like dress code, boys can't wear collar less t-shirt and girls cant wear dress which is above knee and sleeveless is not allowed.
The canteen area needed to be improved, and non-veg is not allowed inside college campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers the main accept of today's trend which is computer science and engineering. where it covers operating syster, data structures , java , python and more. I don't feel the curriculum is suitable for real world application because most of them are theory and practical expirence is very less. I would like to have more of it than depends on theory and marks and that won't fetch knowledge. IT tech parks as site vists and updating the curriculum to recent trends and impoving quality for teaching with respect to it . Sometimes the exams are kept without syllabus completion and it puts a lots of pressue on the students.

I like my college campus because it is green
It is one of the best in Whitefield area

My side view of my college

Likes

The environment around the college is good.
They have well facilitated lab facilities.

Dislikes

There is no proper support and coaches for specific sports.
The events celebrated in the colleges are very less.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college is not very bad or not very good. The college supports the rural area students and they conduct placement training a week in every sem for students so they can gain knowledge about it

Likes

The environment of the college is very good. You can calmly sit and study for your exams or work on your projects. The college is very spacious. Specially the fish pond are is so soothing for mind and relaxing. If you're a calm person and like to....
The library has a lot of books with different authors there will be no shortage for any textbooks

Dislikes

The hostels are not so good. I would recommend students to opt for pgs
Some of the rules are very unnecessary and strict here

I choose my course based on the scope... We have been conducting my seminars workshops... project to prepare us for real life challenges We have enough time to complete our exams for internals 50 marks for 1.5hrs writting and 20mins for quiz And for externals it's complete 3hrs for 100 marks

I like the campus because it is filled with trees
I like my college because it puts importance on academic performance

The faculty are so down to earth and explains the concept very well.
The food provided in canteen is too good

Dislikes

No encouragement towards sports and other extra curricular activities
No college fests are encouraged and they have very strict rules for clothes.

Vtu curriculum is that influenced me to decide this course. Yes the curriculum prepares you for real-world applications or further academic pursuits. Practical knowledge for every student is the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods. 3hours is the exam duration for every level of paper.

What is your review for MVJ College of Engineering for information science?

According to me, the Information Science and Engineering program at MVJCE Bangalore is good. This is my opinion not because I have completed the same degree from this college, but because I have friends who’ve been to other colleges for the same (or similar) course.

The curriculum at MVJCE is similar to other engineering colleges, but there are certain advantages to pursuing Information Science from there. The department faculty is not only highly educated, but skilled in teaching as well. They were always very supportive, and made us understand the practical applications of each and every concept.

Apart from that, the college placement cell also does a decent job. It was particularly my teachers whose support enabled me to grab a well paying job during campus placements.
