Admission to Undergraduate Engineering programmes may be obtained through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) examination and selection process, or through the Management Admission proc
CET Admission Process
- Must have passed the Second Year of Pre-university or 12th standard or equivalent, with English as one of the subjects.
- Must have secured an aggregate of at least 45% in Math and Physics, along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science.
- Must have cleared KCET.
Management Admission Process
- Must have passed the Second Year of Pre-university or 12th standard or equivalent, with English as one of the subjects and obtained an aggregate of at least 60% in Math and Physics, along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science.
- Students should have cleared the Entrance Tests conducted by the Association of Minority Professional Colleges in Karnataka (AMPCK)
- Students should have cleared any one of the Entrance Tests conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka or Govt. of India (KCET, COMEDK, JEE)

Likes
- Campus is very good. It offers a great experience being around the campus.
- Aerospace Engineering department has very good connections with organisations like ISRO, DRDO, HAL, etc..,
Dislikes
- Canteen food is very bad and I heard from my friends that hostel food is not good too.
- Rules are very strict. Strictness wise, even some schools are much better than MVJCE.
Fees and Financial Aid:
College fees will be around 2.5 to 3 lakhs per year if you are a management student and it will be around 1 to 1.5 lakhs if you are joining the KCET exam ranking. Some of the J&K students will get education for free including monthly stipend. If your family income is less, you can get around 20 thousand scholarship under State Scholarship Portal. While management students get 60 thousands provided you maintain good SGPA and Attendance.
Likes
- The campus is very cool, there's a lot of greenery around ge campus.
- A lot of facilities like gym, play ground and auditorium for co curricular activities.
Dislikes
- Attendance issue where it is mandatory to have 85% attendance each semester
- Travelling to college is hectic as it is located very far from the central Bangalore
Fees and Financial Aid:
There are seats for both "Common Entrance Test(govt)" students as well as management students. CET students fees is almost a lakh whereas Management students fees is almost 2 and half lakhs. but management students are given scholarships based on their 12th marks and they can continue with the scholarship provided they score the minimum required cgpa each year in the college.
Likes
- The Infrastructure of the college is really good and there is good canteen too
- Library is also very big and has facility to study upto 8 pm. Also digital library is available.
Dislikes
- Doesn't let girl and boy sit together. Even in the canteen they sometimes set us apart.
- Faculties are not so knowledgeable except for very few of them.

Tuition fees for CS related courses are more compared to other courses like Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Civil, etc. The fee structure is available on the official website of MVJCE. There is scholarship for management students which has strong criteria like more than previous year score and attendance criteria is also very tough.

I choose aerospace engineering. My fees were near to 1 lakh .my cet fees is 60,000.my college fee is 40,000 .overall the fees are near to 1lakh. Scholarships are available at Vidhya Shree, a national scholarship.

Through management, you need to pay 250000/ rupees for the respective field you are interested in as education fee. Through competitive exams like Kcet. If you get good ranking then you need to pay 100000/ rupees as education fees. National scholarship and Vidyasree scholarship.
