MVJ College of Engineering (MVJCE) Bangalore Scholarships
MVJ College of Engineering provides financial assistance for meritorious students at Graduate and Postgraduate levels to impart technical skills which will ultimately benefit the society.

The scholarship for Undergraduate studies will be awarded on the basis of the ranks of the K-CET examination (conducted by Karnataka Examination Authorities) or JEE Examination (conducted by National Testing Agency).

The scholarship for Postgraduate studies will be awarded on the basis of the ranks of PGCET examination (conducted by Karnataka Examination Authorities) or MAT/ CAT Examination.

How to Apply?
The application for scholarships may be sent via email scholarship@mvjce.edu.in with scanned copies of the required documents or via post with copies of documents attached to the application. To download the application form, click here

Eligibility For UG Students in Management/ AMPCK Quota

1st Year Admission Merit 1:

Students within 1000 (Karnataka-CET rank)
Students within 2000 (JEE - Mains/Advanced rank)
Students with above 95% aggregate in 10+2 (PUC – Karnataka Board, CBSE, ICSE) and 90% aggregate in 10th Standard.
100 % Tuition Fee
50 % College Fee will be waived
50 % Activity Fee will be waived

Merit 2:

Students within 5000 (Karnataka-CET rank)
Students within 6000 (JEE Mains/Advanced rank)
Students with above 90% aggregate in 10+2 (PUC – Karnataka Board, CBSE, ICSE) and 80% aggregate in 10th Standard.
CS-AI, CS-DS, CSE, ISE - 80% of Tuition Fee will be waived
AE, AS, ECE- 80% of Tuition Fee will be waived, 50% College Fee& Activity Fee Waived
CV & ME - 90% of Tuition Fee will be waived & 50% College Fee& Activity Fee Waived
CH & EE - 95% of Tuition Fee will be waived & 50% College & Activity Fee Waived

Merit 3:

Students with above 60% aggregate in 10+2 (PUC – Karnataka Board, CBSE, ICSE) and 60% aggregate in 10th Standard.

AE, AS, ECE- 15% of Tuition Fee will be waived
CV & ME - 55% of Tuition Fee will be waived
CH & EE - 65% of Tuition Fee will be waived

For Postgraduate Students in Management/ AMPCK Quota:

Note: The above fee structure is subject to change with respect to the notification of changes in fee structure from regulatory bodies like AICTE/Fee Regulatory committee/KEA/DTE/VTU/Government. Application Fee (INR 1500), Eligibility Fee (INR 1000), University Charges (UG - INR 4380, PG - INR 6470) are applicable to all, For Non-Karnataka Students, additional INR 1500 fee to be paid.

Continuation of scholarship for Higher Semesters (2nd, 3rd and 4th Year)

Only the students who availed the scholarship in the previous years are eligible to apply for renewal.
Scholarship Merits are not interchangeable.
Those who failed to secure the below given CGPA’s as per the Merit Structure are not eligible to apply for scholarships from the subsequent academic year. Such students need to pay the regular Tuition Fee and College Fee as applicable.

Selection Procedure

1) The candidate has to send an application, along with the scanned copies of proof of results to scholarship@mvjce.edu.in.

2) The Scholarship Committee will process applications once in a fortnight from 1st May 2020 onwards.

3) Incomplete applications will be rejected.

4) The application of the candidate will be verified and processed by the scholarship committee of MVJCE,

5) The Scholarship committee will recommend the list of students found eligible, to the management for grant of scholarship.

6) The Selection results will be informed within three days of the application process

Terms & Conditions

Scholarship will be considered for only one academic year. To avail the scholarship for the next academic year, the student needs to submit the renewal application form, along with the necessary documents, 2 weeks before the commencement of the odd semester. The following terms need to be satisfied by the applicants:

To renew the scholarship, the candidates need to score CGPA’s, as given below in every semester
- Merit 1: CGPA > 9.0
- Merit 2: CGPA > 8.3
- Merit 3: CGPA > 7.3
Any new application or renewal application of the scholarship after the due date will be rejected.
The candidates need to re-apply, along with the result documents duly attested by the Principal.
If any student fails to score CGPA‘s as per the Merit structure in an academic year, he/she will not be eligible to apply for a scholarship in the next academic year. Such students need to pay the regular Tuition Fee and College Fee as per the Management Quota.
The student needs to have 85% attendance in all the subjects.
The student should not have been involved in any activity which is in the nature of indiscipline or tarnishing the reputation of the institution.
If the scholarship beneficiary discontinues his/her course, the complete benefit of scholarship availed previously must be returned by him/her.
The MVJCE Scholarship Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any Scholarship Application.

The candidate needs to submit a Scholarship Renewal application form, along with the documents specified below:

Result sheet of the previous academic year
Recommendation letter from the HOD attested by Principal.
Attendance Certificate to prove 85 % attendance in all subjects.

1. Tution fees - 58000, Registration and admission fees - 45000 I joined the college through CET ranking so103000 fees if management then it would be around 2-3L fees, 2. My batchmate who joined management he paid 200000 3)if the student is SC/ST caste he can apply for SSP scholarship, The student from management side and got good cgpa the fees will be same if he get less cgpa then the fees increases.

99824 is government fee for college and 21500 is lab fee and exam fee for general and OBC caste peoples. Ssp scholarship for OBC is 19984. For sc and st student government fee is 750 for Frist year and 21500 is lab fee and exam fee. Ssp scholarship is like 78k.

I have joined MVJCE(MV JAYARAMAN COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING)in the acedemic year 2024-25. One of the reasons i joined MVJCE is because i got a seat for my preferred course that was mechanical engineering. The current fee structure for mechanical engineering in MVJCE is 1.5l per annum. Computer science fee structure is about 3l per annum The workshops and labs in MVJCE are in top condition which helps the students perform and understand the concepts of engineering better. The teaching faculty is the best in MVJ with proffesors with doctorates and phds. One of the cons are that the entire campus is a vegetarian campus and the hostel food is too bad. Unlike the hostel food the college canteen provides a nescafe stall and a maggie station. The need for attendance is the main priority for the college. The minimum attendance % is 75%with medical certificate and 85% without medical certificate. The fee structure has been same for a long time now so i dont think there will be any changes for a while.

Fees vary from department to department For example, for ECE, we have a fee structure of 2.35 lakh per annum, and for all computer-related courses, the fees start from 3 lakhs up to 5 lakhs per annum. There will be additional charges, which they say for the lab uniforms are approximately Rs.3505 There are quite a few scholarships available, like the NSS, etc.

The Basic Fee is 1,20,000/year but my fee is zero because i came under from PMSSS scheme, so the whole college fee paid by Central Government but the food and accommodation fee i have to pay that and that is 6,000/Month So the overall food and accommodatation fee for whole course is 3Year =36Months 36×6,000=2,16,000
