Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would rate the course curriculum at MVJ college of engineering as 7 out of 10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. It is well structured under VTU guidelines and provides a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of engineering. Areas of improvement curriculum updates, Teaching methods, industry collaboration.

Internships Opportunities

4

MVJ college of engineering provides a wide range of internship opportunities through its training and placement cell and developmental initiatives. The college encourages students to take up internships from the third year in some branches even second year students are guided to participate in short term industrial training programs Students are encouraged to complete mini projects and final year projects during their internships to gain real world exposure

Placement Experience

4

MVJ college of engineering has a good Placement record, for branches like CS and ECE The Placement activities are handled by Placement Cell, which begins preparing students from 6th semister through aptitude session, communication skills etc They maintain good score like 60% and above academic percentage the students are eligible for placement drive from 6th semister onwards At my time at college some 10 companies visited the campus Highest package from my batch is 5L per Annum Most placement are in roles like developer and Networking side for core branches they get opportunities in design, testing and maintenance roles Overall MVJ provides good placement opportunities

Fees and Financial Aid

1. Tution fees - 58000, Registration and admission fees - 45000 I joined the college through CET ranking so103000 fees if management then it would be around 2-3L fees, 2. My batchmate who joined management he paid 200000 3)if the student is SC/ST caste he can apply for SSP scholarship, The student from management side and got good cgpa the fees will be same if he get less cgpa then the fees increases.

Campus Life

4

My experience at MVJ college of engineering has been memorable and enriching.campus offers a balanced environment that focuses not only academics but also on social engagement and personality development. The college hosts two major annual events - the cultural fest "Swayam", usually held in March, and the technical fest "VertechX",organized in September.Swayam features music, dance, and cultural performance.while VertechX includes hackathons, coding challenges, project expos this events bring students together and encourage teamwork, creativity, and leadership. The library student study environment is quiet, organized, and student - friendly, making it ideal for learning and group study Classrooms are well furnished with board labs are updated with hardware and software tools, ensuring pratical exposure for students in different branches. Apart from sports there are some extracurricular activities such as debates, cultural clubs Overall the campus life at MVJCE is good and offering opportunities for academic and personal growth.

Admission

When I was selecting an engineering college I applied to several reputed institutions in Karnataka including Dayananda Sagar College of engineering Acharya institute of technology CMR institute of technology but I couldn't make it due to slightly higher cutoff in CET. I finally choose MVJ college of engineering because of its location infrastructure academic environment and placement opportunities. Situated in Whitefield it's close to several IT companies which is better and increases internship and placement prospects. The campus is spacious clean and well equipped with modern labs and facilities the college also has good reputation under VTU for maintaining academic decipline and quality teaching. Overall it offers balanced mixed of academic quality, Placement support, faculty support etc so making it a suitable place to pursue engineering.

Prof Sree lakshmi (ISE Department) is known for her excellent teaching style and patient in explaining complex concepts in simple terms. Course structure and fees college follows the VTU curriculum which is updated periodically to include modern topics each semester has 3 internal assessment and 1 final semester exam conducted by VTU. Internal exams include theory, lab work and assessments

4

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ????
