Course Curriculum Overview

3

I wanted to do Engineering but in my PUC i took Electronics instead of Computer Science and i had interest in Cyber security from 10th because of that i opted this course. Curriculum builds basics like networking useful for IT jobs and cyber security awareness aiding projects such as your fitness tracker app with backend integration. However it lacks on modern stacks like MongoDB limiting direct job readiness add practical labs for better preps. Integrate real world projects like Java based apps like RSA encryption into curriculum for portfolio building. Teaching methods suit self learners via lectures and notes but more interactive sessions would help Overall difficulty is medium-high.

Internships Opportunities

4

In our college group once in a week they post a intership program which is related to our subject and usually it's free intership no stipend but sometimes they send some intership with stipend but it usually be full-time and in our college they conduct workshop every month where we learn about cyber security, coding language etc

Placement Experience

4

from 6th Sem u are eligible to sit for the placement. A lot of companies come to the college i don't focus on company name my focus will be on the CTC and average is 4-5LPA and the highest package was 20LPA. but very less student get placed because they don't have proper technical skill and the one who have skills they are placed in our college. before getting a Degree i need a job from Campus Placement this is my plan after getting Degree let's see I haven't made any plans right now.

Fees and Financial Aid

My current fee is 1.2L from 1st year it's the same because i came through KCET and if u come through MAnagement Qutoa it will be 3L for CSE it's around 1.2L for 1st year students(2023) and 5L(Management) now the fee is 1.4L for every course if u come through KCET and 6-7L through Management.

Campus Life

4

Annually they conduct a lot of events Lazeez, Tarang, etc they celebrate Onam and others festivals aswell not so grand but decent. a lot of books and journals are available in Library and all are updated one. the faculties use smart board or use PPT to explain their topics/concepts. Sports once in every 2 months they conduct inter college or college sports event and there will be n no of sports available and u can freely participate in any sport u want. NO there are groups but there's no impact on my life idk about other student

Admission

I've applied for AMC and Atria and i was expecting to go in either these colleges but i got this college i didn't know anything about this college my mom told me to take the admission so i have to listen and i took admission but this college is not so bad i enjoy i learn new things etc. my rank was 71k so this college was offering cyber security with that rank so i joined other college had this course but the cutoff was very high so becasue i didn't make it. Admission process was pretty simple just take your admission ticket which was given by KCET go to reception office they'll take the ticket ask for additonal charges which was 14k for me and then next day i went took the admit card and started to attend my classes.Eligibility is u should have cleared 12th if u want to come through KCET they'll ask some documents submit it and then that's it it is same for Management aswell Overall Experience was 8/10.

Faculty

4

There are efficient amount of Faculty for every subject and they are chill if u have any doubt u can go to department and ask they'll help u out. One of my favourite faculty is Suma ma'am I hate maths those calculations and stuff but she use to take civil enginnering in 1st sem and she made my calculations faster and i got more interest in Maths because of her. I just don't like one Faculty that is Divarakar from Chemistry Department he use to take us Bio in 4th Sem and he wanted bookish answers in the exam or else he won't give marks even if your concept is correct or even if u have written related answer for that particular Question.

Night Life

4

Late night i've been for DJ night and during night it's very creepy the whole campus and outside the campus becomes silent and it's safe to hang-out but i haven't done it yet. yeah there's a gym but allowed only for students who live in college hostel College hostel is pretty good it's inside the campus and the food everything is decent and the timing idk. inside the college the hangout places is Bakery,Non-Veg canteen, Charpel, volley ball court etc.

Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business.
