Likes

Some of the professors are very passionate about their subject.
The sports culture is one of the best in kj somaiya.
There are various companies on campus and off campus that offer good placement to the students.

Dislikes

ROI is very low as college fees are high.
Canteen food is also not upto to the mark. There are no varities on the menu.
Despite being autonomous college they don't have updated syllabus. They follow Mumbai University.

Likes

College gives many opportunity for participating in committees and clubs
College has huge campus which has cricket and football ground
College encouraged us to go and participate in different competition

Dislikes

College has worst placement and students are not placed
College teachers are not enough qualified
College canteen has very bad food and quality

The course is good overall but the teachers and staff are not so qualified to give us the knowledge of the course and like every other college, students have to learn everything by there own. Since no teacher has knowledge about the course

Placements are offeredint the start of the last year in which student is asked prior to the placements that all of them has to sit the placeement or not, then when the placement starts the students has to prepare a final year project in which the cordintor seletds the students for the job, if students wants to go for the off campus placements they can

Students life in KJSIT

Likes

The sports culture is one of the best in KJ Somaiya.
Extra Cirricular Actitives provides huge atmosphere.
Facilities provied by the college are upto its best.

Dislikes

College timing keeps varing which is not suitable for everyone.
Tons of loads of assignment and experiments.
Practicals are not performed thoughrouly.

Placement Experience:

KJ Somaiya provied good campus placements depending on the CGPA and overall academic abilities and skills. The average package of KJ Somaita is 5L PA and goes upto 18L PA, many MNCs visits KJ Somiaya like Accenture, TCS and many more.

The placements offered by companies visiting this company are very good. Many of our college students get placed. Maximum packages are around 1 crore and the average package is around 15 LPA. Companies like tcs,wipro, etc. Visit the campus.

I like the easy process to get admission in the college without any hectic process.
I liked the friendly nature of faculties towards students and how they support students.
I liked the opportunities students get after completing the course.

Dislikes

I disliked that some faculties are not that supportive in nature.

Student life at KJSIT

Likes

The college has a lot of parking space for both students as well as teachers, thanks to the huge campus.
The focus on project based learning helps to improve student knowledge.

Dislikes

The college has no AC's and gets too hot by afternoon.

Every class has approximately 70 students. The dedicated faculty members at KJ Somaiya Institute of Technology bring valuable knowledge and experience to the table. The curriculum is at par with other engineering colleges in Mumbai.

The roles and responsibility offered during the internships that brings along a good understanding of technical project delivery
The presence of facilities like turf, ping pong tables and open gym for unwinding
