21 Jun, 2025 KJSIEIT has extended the Online Pre-Registration deadline for UG Admission 2025 upto June 27, 2025. Aspirants must register online @mu.ac.in/admission and should also submit the college application form separately. The merit lists will be released at the institute level if seats remain vacant. Check details here. 

KJSIEIT has released the First Merit List for PG Admission 2025. The selected candidates must pay the fees by June 21, 2025 (5 PM). Further, the Second Merit List will be out on June 24, 2025 (6 PM). For more details, Click Here.

17 Jun, 2025 MHT CET Result 2025 for PCB has been announced on June 17, 2025. Earlier, the result for PCM group had been announced on June 16, 2025. Download scorecard here. Candidates can use MHT CET 2025 College Predictor to predict their admission chances at KJSIEIT.

KJSIEIT offers admission to BE, ME and Ph.D in various disciplines. It provides a BE as a flagship program. For admission to the BE program, Candidates need to appear for the JEE MAIN/MHT CET/Maharashtra JEE MAIN entrance exam. KJSIEIT JEE Main Cutoff 2024 for the General Category was 53793 - 77095. KJSIEIT BE program fees is INR 1.9 Lakh for and fees for the ME program is INR 1.17 Lakh for the first year.

It also accepts the PET entrance exam for admission in Ph.D programs. KJSIEIT fees for the Ph.D program is INR 50,000 for the first year.

KJSIEIT offers admission to the BE program in 5 specialisations such as information technology, computer engineering, electronics & telecom engineering, electronics engineering and artificial intelligence & data science. For admission to the BE program, Candidates need to appear for the JEE MAIN/MHT CET/Maharashtra JEE MAIN entrance exam. KJSIEIT BE program fees is INR 1.9 Lakh for the first year.

BE Candidate must have completed 10+2 with 60% Marks and also need to appear for JEE MAIN.

Other colleges were DJ Sanghvi and SPIT Those colleges had higher cutoff than expected. Admission process of KJSIT is structured and according to merit. There is a minority quota of 51 percent seats for gujarati linguistic category students.

KJ Somaiya is better than the rest!!

Honestly I didn't even gave MH-CET. I just gave JEE and Enteance-1. Entrance-1 is KJ Somaiaya's entrance test. For our course the top level cut off studnets got the admissions here. After CSE it was our course that was in major demand.

KJ Somaiya, worth it ?

Admission:

This college was in my same city, hence opted for this college. It is a reknowned college, with good faculties, proper workbase, nice campus. I applied for mamy colleges: VIT, SRM, BITS, NIT, and many more. I got admission in VIT and SRM, but the work environment was not proper. After my first JEE attempt, I got into KJ Somaiya College of Engineering. I applied on their online webpage and after round 1 admissions, I got an admission mail. KJ takes admission on the basis of JEE mains score or PERA Cet, in 2021. Those who apply first, get their seats first.

My College Experience

Admission:

So to take admission in this college you have to give the MHT-CET exam which is conducted every year after the 12th board exam. The syllabus for this exam is same as for the 12th boards and the difficulty level is easy to moderate. There is no exam conducted by the college seperately. You can also take admission through JEE MAIN score. Generally the cutoff through CET is above 93 percentile for CSE branch . But the college has a Gujarati quota, for them it is around 88 percentile. Most of the students are from gujarati minority.

Can I get a call from KJ Somaiya with a 213 score of NMAT?

The cut-off score for KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (KJSIMSR) varies each year and depends on various factors such as the difficulty level of the NMAT exam, the number of test takers, and the number of seats available. Apart from NMAT the institute also considers CAT/CMAT/XAT/GMAT scores as well.

In recent years, the cut-off for KJ Somaiya has been around 95 percentiles, in percentile terms which in score terms is around 210-215 for the NMAT exam. So, with a score of 213, you have a chance of getting a call from KJ Somaiya, but it ultimately depends on the number of applicants who have scored higher than you.

It's also important to note that the final selection process at KJ Somaiya includes a group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI), in addition to the NMAT score. So, your performance in these stages will also play a significant role in the final selection decision.
