KJSIEIT Scholarship 2025: Amount, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

K J Somaiya College offers a variety of scholarships to support students from economically weaker backgrounds, as well as those who excel academically. Key scholarships include the Rajshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Scholarship Scheme, which provides a 50% fee waiver for students with a valid income certificate under Rs. 8 lakhs per annum. The TATA scholarship is available for students excelling in academics. Economically Backward Class (EBC) students can avail a 50% tuition fee reduction.

The college also supports minority students, offering a Gujarati minority scholarship of Rs. 25,000. Additional scholarships are provided by the Somaiya Trust and other trusts, based on merit and financial need. The annual fees for engineering courses range from approximately Rs. 1.31 lakhs to Rs. 1.8 lakhs, with variations depending on the program and year. External education loans and government scholarships are also facilitated by the college.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I am paying 4.56Lakhs per year for my btech degree in robotics and artificial intelligence. The fees mentioned includes all caution fees, development fees lab fees and etc . There is no management quota as such. U get selected on the basis of mhcet ,jee mains or peracet. U can avail scholarship

The fees for cse is 5,00,000 per year which increases at 8% every year. However i got scholarship bcos of good marks in mhtcet,45% scholarship on tution fee. So the total fees for each year is reduced to 3,00,000. The fees for other courses like electronics is at 400000 per year.

The Great KJ Somaiya

The year wise fees of my college is 25,000 including registration fees, admission fees development fess and lab fees also. Tuition fees is not there because i was give income certificate to college that's way the tuition fees are not there . I am studying in electronic and Telecommunication field.

There are no scholarships in general.. the first year fees (tution-2023 admissions) was 4.75 lakhs which will increase by 10 percent every year so it will reach somewhere around 6 lakhs by the end of the degree, there are no reservation quotas except for gujarati minority although fees is the same fir everyone

In the first year, the tuition fee for my branch, Electronics and Computer Engineering, was 400,000 rupees. This amount increases by 8% annually. The fee structure for Computer and IT Engineering is different, with an initial fee of 425,000 rupees in the first year, also subject to an annual increment of 8%. It is worth noting that the college offers financial aid and scholarships to students in need.

KJ Somaiya is better than the rest!!

Fees at KJ Somaiya is in a way less than many private colleges as it is run by a trust. All I pay is around 1.75 lakhs a year. Yes, different category students fees differs and not just reserved category students gets scholarships even the students who are merit holders reap good rewards.

NOTE: fee structure might be changed. 8% increment every year: 1st year: 345000 2nd year: 369221 3rd year: 398485 4th year: 432590 For third year, breakdown of fee structure: Development fee: 51657 Exam fee:3300 insurance fee:125 tuition fee1:144160 tuition fee2:199243 This was the same fee structure for year 2021 for all branches. Scholarships, EWS available.

My College Experience

The total fees I have to pay is around 170000. It increases every year by 2000-3000. Although there is no kind of scholarship provided by the college but there is a EBC quota in which you have to apply in the first year itself to wave off 50% of your tution fees. If there are any financial issues you can also pay the fees in installments.
