Likes
- Ours is autonomous college and I can easily say that our course is better than that of Mumbai University.
- Advanced classrooms and advanced labs have made our college among the most looked upon college by the students.
Dislikes
- Everything is updated here but the library as it still carries some old stock.
Placement Experience:
Ever since it has turned autonomous in 2018, we have more and more companies coming and the highest package in 2023 season was 58.4 lakhs. From Coforge, Amazon to Cognizant there's not a single IT company that doesn't visit our campus for placements.
Likes
- A huge campus with Ac rooms, multiple canteens.
- Multiple companies for placements are available.
Dislikes
- Unhygienic canteen of engineering. Flies all around.
- Moody faculty everyday. But not that strict.
Internships Opportunities:
Internships of all types are available. Internship under faculty or under a company is optional. Internships from 1 month long to 6month long with stipend is provided. Companies like: nStore, Bynry, Lyondellbasell, Siemens, and many more provide interships for sem long. Projects like backend or frontend building, web development, application development, data analysis are alloted.
Likes
- The Faculty members are very friendly and supportive.
- There are lots of opportunities for the students for networking, sports. Also there are many clubs and committees in our college.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is decent but can be better.
- Canteen food is also not upto to the mark. There are no varities on the menu.
Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester one can sit for the placements. Companies like TCS, Accenture, Infosys and many more are the mass recruiters for this college. Around 60% of the students are placed and have job profiles like Software Engineer, Data Analyst, etc. The highest package was around 17.5 LPA in 2023 and the average package is around 6 LPA. My plan after the degree is to pursue a master's degree from US/UK .

- First year teaching staff is experienced and friendly.
- Campus has almost all facilities necessary.
Dislikes
- Despite being autonomous college they don't have updated syllabus. They follow Mumbai University.
Placement Experience:
The campus placement are usually carried out in the 7th semester. There are a consistent companies visiting our campus like IDFC Bank,seclore, Accenture etc. The on campus highest placement is 14lpa by IDFC first Bank. Average placement is about 6 lpa. Almost all the eligible students from the tech branches are placed. Many students from your college aspire for master's so there is good GRE culture.We also have AIR-5 in gate examination from our college.Also many aspire for CAT exams. I am not yet sure about my plans after getting degree but most probably I would look for placement rather than master's

- Disliked the canteed the behaviour of the faculty when the submission time
Internships Opportunities:
there are many internship opportunities in our colleges once you get the approvation from the head of the department you can work outside on your skill sets and max them, Companies like TCS, JIO, ACCENTURE

- The sports culture is one of the best in KJ Somaiya.
- Extra Cirricular Actitives provides huge atmosphere.
Dislikes
- College timing keeps varing which is not suitable for everyone.
- Tons of loads of assignment and experiments.
Internships Opportunities:
College provides good internship opportunities and each and every department provides internships to their students which helps them to develop their skills and perform well in future and compete in the world of technology.
Likes
- Campus , facilities provided by collage .
- Opportunity to learn with other students .
Dislikes
- Some Faculty that teaches some subjects .
- Area where the campus is located near highway

As many cells , clubs , and committes are available in my collages many internship opportunities has arrived in my college , many branches of subject are available for internship like web development digital marketing . Etc

- Placement here is very good and every student get placed.
Dislikes
- Fee of this college is very high because of which may students don't take admission.
Internships Opportunities:
Here are many internship opportunities students get to improve their skills. Companies offer projects which give students the opportunity to work in a team and make their team managing skills good and it also increases their job getting chance.

- I liked the friendly nature of faculties towards students and how they support students.
Dislikes
- I disliked that some faculties are not that supportive in nature.
Internships Opportunities:
Many companies like tcs, Capgemini, Wipro offers internship to students which includes jobs like data analyst, web developer and they provide this job with a good stipend. Many projects are given which improves the skill of students.
Likes
- The roles and responsibility offered during the internships that brings along a good understanding of technical project delivery
- The presence of facilities like turf, ping pong tables and open gym for unwinding
Dislikes
- The distance to good eateries and restaurants
Internships Opportunities:
Companies offering internships: IMD, ISTE, UT Dallas, IITM, and many more. Roles Offered to interns: UI/UX, Data Analysis, Data Engineering, Machine Learning Intern, and Deep Learning Intern. Develop a system to preempt and predict heatwave-like conditions over the subcontinent of India Develop an ML-based health monitoring system.
