B.E. in Electronics and Telecom Engineering is an Undergraduate course with a specialization in the field of electronics and telecommunication (Telecom). The course is divided into eight semesters spanning over a duration of four years. The minimum eligibility criterion that most of the institutes ask for is a score of at least 55% (relaxable for reserved category candidates) at 10+2 or equivalent level.

B.E. in Biomedical Engineering: Eligibility

Candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized state or central board with at least 55% (45% to 50% for reserved category candidates) of the marks with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the major subjects of study.

He/She shall not be having any backlog in any of the subject/Subjects at 10+2 or equivalent level that is yet to be cleared at the time of taking admissions.
Apart from the above-mentioned eligibility criteria’s various colleges and institutes may have their own additional criteria’s which the students would have to satisfy in order to take admission.
In case of reserved category students, they would have to present their reservation certificates issued by the competent authorities in order to avail the benefits applicable to them.
Most of the Institutes give admissions through Common Entrance Test (CET). To get admissions in these institutes candidates would have to qualify the respective entrance exam by securing minimum qualifying marks.

B.E. in Biomedical Engineering: Admission Process

The procedure for admission into the course involves a common entrance test based admission process (as seen across various Universities and colleges in the country) as well as a merit-based selection process (in select few institutes/colleges).

Students who have passed their 10+2 or equivalent level examinations with a minimum of 55% marks (45% to 50% for reserved category students) can make application in colleges offering the course.
Majority of the Universities/Colleges conduct a common entrance test for admission into B.E courses (like LUPNEST) or take admissions through commonly held entrance exam like JEE Main, UPSEE. Hence students would have to make an application for such exams.
Students have to qualify these exams (for which they should be eligible to appear) in order to get admission in the course.
After the conduct of the test, a merit list of finally qualified candidates is prepared and candidates are invited for admission process by the respective university or college.
After admission process final allotment of seats to the candidate takes place and the candidate is asked to deposit the fee for the course and register for the respective academic year.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'll be paying 96000 rupees of this year. There is 4000 of caution fees.and there is also little reservation for sc,st. My batchmate is of general category he has also same fees structure. There is post matric scholarship which is not for general category and other type of scholarship is mmvy which contains the criteria of first mp domicile and student's rank under 1.5 lakh and above 75 percent in mp board or above 85 percent in cbse board

Placement Experience

If we talk about placement so we can say it is decent and after fourth semester students are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies visit like infosys, cognizant, ZS etc. the highest package of this college is 27 lakhs in 2024 by ZS and avg. Packing we can say it is approx 6 lakhs per annum. There is approx 60 percent of students getting placements. And my plan is taking decent placement.

Sinhgad college of engineering (SCOE) have good and qualified faculty for teaching. And they are good interract with students. In-sem exams are typically for 30 marks.End-sem exams are for 70 marks. A minimum of 40% is generally required to pass an exam. SCOE is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), so exams are conducted as per university guidelines. The highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive faculty members, especially those who make complex topics easier to understand and guide students effectively. The course curriculum is based on the SPPU syllabus, which is designed to be relevant to industry standards and technological advancements. However, some students might find the curriculum to be what it is, dictated by the university.

Fees of Sinhgad college of engineering (SCOE) annually for general is 1,38,000. Sanskriti is the main event of every jadavpur university student. It is held by all the three faculties, sfsu, afsu and fetsu around march and april. Uturn is the main event for every first year student, and it's so beautiful how they get accustomed to jadavpur. Arena is also a sports event held every year for inter department competition of all years. A tech fest, srijan is also held in april end.

The college has an overall good amount of placements and there is a dedicated training and placement cell who looks after the placements of the students. The T&P cell not only brings placement but also makes students placement ready by arranging well versed Industry training session for Aptitude test. Most of the Computer science and IT students are placed and have an average package of 6 LPA While the EXTC Dept has an average package of 3LPA and the average package for Mechanical Dept is 4.5 LPA

Jadavpur University is one of India's most prestigious state-run engineering institutions, known for offering a high-quality education at a very affordable cost. total for 4 years : 10,000 ( general category ) TFW ( tuition fee waiver ) category students with family income below Rupees. 2.5 LPA get tuition fee exemption. Almost full waiver on tuition fees, only minimal administrative and caution deposits are charged for SC / ST students. Scholarships & Finalcial Aid : WB GOVT. : Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship : Rupees 12,000 per annum ( for family income < Rupees 2.5 LPA ) Swami Vivekanda Scholarship : Rupees 60,000 per year ( for engineering students )

The name of the annual fest is SANSKRITI and the engineering and science faculty arranges this annual fest every year with huge excitement and Bands from many genres, grewsome mmoments and activites. There is located a Central library which has large number of books from every department and the availability is also handsome enough and the accessebility is actually good. Black-Boards and Chalks are used as well as projectors are used for teaching sports and extra curricular activities are pretty decent but no grade or something is engaged with that, extra curricular are not considered in the curriculum of colleges education

So in second year engineering or in third year engineering, our college provides internship to us. There are programs according to the branch of ENT C computer and they provide internship regarding to their branches regarding to their skills like if I have mastered cloud data management, then they provide maintenance and ship regarding to that. Our College has a tie up with so many big companies to provide a sentence to provide us internship, our college with TCS Capgemini, Infosys, Intel Microsoft, Google, Amazon, meta ChatGPT, open AI.

Good infrastructure and can feel lively fests

The faculty student ratio was good and most professors were approachable and helpful. A few lacked clarity and engagement. Exams were moderate two internals and one final per semester. Passing was manageable. Few failed unless very irregular .

Placements started from 6th semester . Companies like Infosys, tcs , Wipro visited offering development and associate roles . Average package was around 3-4 lpa highest was about 20lpa . About 80% has got placed

Unbiased Honest review of GEC Raipur

annual tech fest is called Aavesh and annual sport fest is called aayam they are held in between january to june the library is divided into 2 parts 1 part is open for all and anybody can issue the books from there and there is a special section from where only st,sc can issue the books others can only read there. As every college it also has a working projector and a geen board and awhite board . only for a limited time sports are allowed during the fest . there are two student run social groups and they take a stand for students wellfare.

companies have only offered training that to paid training some interships were offered but there criteia wants high cgpa which is usually not possible in my branch . I made a self balancing robot as our minor project in our 5th semester which give me understanding of how DIY boards like arduino esp etc work and how to interface it with varies other components or other boards.(project was related from my vocational training)

Reality of Pune's 5 th best college from cet

Faculty is great , teachers are supporting. If you are ready to try they will help you Staff also promotes you to do extra things along with academics so that you have and overall great personality. College follows sppu syllabus and marking scheme till now but from this year college is getting autonomous so don't know much about the syllabus

College have good library, good ground , small college campus area , some clubs here are really active and they have great achievements, college events are really very bad not at all worth it and they didn't even gave us freshers party nor dj night

Good college for engineering aspirants

Their are Total of 50 faculty approx.The exam pattern is based on SSPU paper pattern as our college is affiliated to SSPU.The course is relevant to some extent in our day today life. We got various opportunities to use them in our day today Life also. The faculty to students ratio is 5/60.I liked.my maths faculty because his way of teaching is good and satisfactory.Their are total 3 exams in each semester. First is unit examination and then prelims examination and then the final examination END semester exam.

As I am in first year and according to me the curriculum is Average and it has some extent of use in our day today life also.The curriculum builds a comprehensive way of thinking and decision making.The curriculum really prepares.very well for real world.The syllabus must be upgraded as according to institute of national importance has.The frequency of exam conduction is very large, students get enough time to study properly for the examination.

From Rejections to the Right Fit: My Honest Experience at SSGMCE,Shegaon

The faculty in college is very good in turn of the eduaction qualificatons.There are many staff aslo for the labs and every small thing in the college.Professer Take lectures daily basis throughout the week and extra classes aslo taken on sunday.The exam is semester based. Each year has 2 semester summer and winter. Written exam is of 80 marks and internal is 20 marks.There is praticals exam aslo according to the university Timetable.

In this course there is strong foundational subjects in first year like Maths physics programming Drawing communication etc.The curriculum encouraged project based learing especially in 3rd and 4th year. Area of improvments like analog electronics and software languages could be replaced with recents topics AI cloud commputing.The exam is 2 times according to the university time table semester based.The dificulty level is good.

The placements are really good improve and improving by year and year the managements are grabbing of Campus opportunities last year one of the student was got place in Microsoft and student got internship in Amazon. With pros there are some cons in placements to as other than computer science and information technology branches there are less Placement in college especially for Civil and Mechanical Engineering

The campus life is really good many friend come out and hang in dharmaraju party railway station of Akurdi the rare many Abhinandan shops of tea there is high demand of South Indian food in college campus as well as out of college campus 2 biryani and Chinese foods as well as D Mart is very close to college campus

Here the placement are decent not that much expected if the placement are not good the students are ready to do their higher studies like CAT or MBA also many student opt for the civil services Some students get really good placement such as 15 LPA 20 LPA Some student also grab opportunities by off campus top level companies

Here the single teacher teaches 268 student the faculty is very friendly with the student I like Manisha Tanwar which is hod of first year the most the best faculty here is Minal Karad ma'am And The faculty I didn't like was Ganesh Gosavi because they didn't attend the lecture regularly they were not punctured

DBIT Mumbai will teach one daring!!

Don Bosco Institute of Technology is Mumbai'd pioneer when it comes to engineering colleges. Ofcourse cant compare with the likes of IIT Bombay but when it comes to VJTI or DJ Sanghvi, we are much better placed. The fees is just 1.35 lakhs and for every engineering its same. Since its a private engineering college, the scholarships are at max 20% for even SC/ST category student's.

Not many colleges have playgrounds in Mumbai but ours has an Excellent football ground. Our canteen too is regarded as one of the best. All functions and events takes place in the beautiful lawn of the college. The best part of infrastructure is gender biased washrooms and are plenty to be honest. Last but not the least an amazing parking space.

My College Experience: A Review of D Y PATIL college of engineering pune

The college believes that a continuous and comprehensive evaluation (CCE) system, with a 50-mark component and a 50-mark end-semester exam, is optimal for students' holistic development. Faculty members assist students in the CCE portion to help them achieve higher marks.

I received a scholarship due to my family's socioeconomic status. My approximate fees are twenty thousand. The college tuition is relatively affordable compared to other institutions. But in college fees all thinks are not included such as exam fee, uniform fee etc.
