DBIT Mumbai will teach one daring!!

Electronics and Telecommunication or EXTC is one of the best engineering is what I feel. It gives us machine knowledge as well as IT knowledge too. So, when you have both, theres nothing better that can happen. Our syllabus is pinch of salt as everything that our course has is latest and something which is right from west.

Mazgaon Dock is where i have interened in 2nd and 3rd yesr and more or less i might find myseld working for them as well. Even ISRO amd BAARC have hired interns from our college. Stipend at these organizations doesn't matter as getting to work there is more than one can ask for.

In the third year our TNP department starts gearing and unwinding us for placements. Infosys, Siemens, BEL and Cochin Shipyard which all operates in Mumbai are the ones who can be termed our long term associates of the college.

Don Bosco Institute of Technology is Mumbai'd pioneer when it comes to engineering colleges. Ofcourse cant compare with the likes of IIT Bombay but when it comes to VJTI or DJ Sanghvi, we are much better placed. The fees is just 1.35 lakhs and for every engineering its same. Since its a private engineering college, the scholarships are at max 20% for even SC/ST category student's.

Not many colleges have playgrounds in Mumbai but ours has an Excellent football ground. Our canteen too is regarded as one of the best. All functions and events takes place in the beautiful lawn of the college. The best part of infrastructure is gender biased washrooms and are plenty to be honest. Last but not the least an amazing parking space.

MH-Cet percentile of 97 is required as even though it was lockdown when i took admission the cut-off was still that. Yes, in that cut-off, getting admission is tough but cometh the hour, cometh the man is what DBIT believe in. Just 20% seats for minorities and thats a good thing as one gets fair chance for admission here.

DBIT is DBIT as faculties here have ensured that students should be treated faur and square here. Exams papers are set by them only for internals as final semester papers are set by the university. So, in internals to get the good marks we dont have a chocie but to be in good books of the faculties.

The college is in Kurla and therfore Bandra Kurla Complex is the best big thing close to our campus. The malls, restaurant and multiplex are un numbers. Within 2 kms we have every single thing that one can ask for.
