21 Nov, 2025 MHT CET will now be conducted twice a year from 2026 onwards for Engineering, Pharmacy, and Management courses. The first session for PCM Group is tentatively scheduled from April 11 to April 19. For PCB Group, the exam is expected from April 21 to April 26, 2025. Check details.

SIES Graduate School of Technology (SIES GST), established in 1995, is a private, autonomous engineering institute located in Navi Mumbai. NAAC accredits this institute with grade A+. The Times of India has ranked it in the 48th position under the Engineering category in 2024.

SIES GST offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including B.E., B.Tech (Internet of Things), and M.E. B.E., being the flagship course, is available across nine engineering departments. Admissions are conducted through the MHT CET entrance exam. For B.E. programs, admissions students are accepted based on performance in the JEE Main/MHT CET. SIES GST Admission 2025

SIES GST admissions for UG and PG programs are based on the performance in the entrance exams of MHT CET/ JEE Main/ GATE and through online mode. The open category seats are filled by the eligible candidates who satisfy the general eligibility conditions and are from the State of Maharashtra. Admissions are generally conducted based on the State cell guidelines and regulations through the Centralized Admission Process. DTE conducts the CAP counseling rounds. Seat Allocations are done based on CAP rounds. Students can refer to the table below for the admission procedure.

SIES GST placement records for 2025 have not yet been released. According to the NIRF Engineering Report 2025, the placement drive has recorded the UG median package of INR 5 LPA. A total of 186 students have been placed in the UG department. With a 61% placement rate, some of the top companies are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, ConnectWise, LTI Mindtree, Wipro, Worley, and AWS.

Likes

College campus and all facilites are excellent. There is regulatlr cleaning of whole campus. Everything maintained well.
Teaching and faculty is also very good. Each and every topic is taught and nothing is skipped.
Every thing is taught practically. Labs have AC also.

Dislikes

I just disliked the canteen. All students get lunch break at the same time. So no place in canteen during break time
All library system is well and good. Just the thing is during exams there are shortage of books.

You get very good placements if you have good technical skills and if you clear the interview well. Many companies such as Jio, Reliance, Infosys, L&T, accenture, Amazon, Wipro Samsung etc have visited till date

Internship opportunities provided by the college

Here it is a supportive environment in internship cases. The faculties also guide you with internship opportunity. The college colaverates with companies and provide internships course based. We also have an option to do ourselves also

Festival celebration and facilities available in the campus

There are many fests events conducted here. Almost all festivals and days such as Pongal, Ganesh Chaturthi, Shiv Jayanti, Independence day, Republic day etc are celebrated. There are also many events such as tree plantation, Blood donation, health checkup camps organised. There are end number of books present in Library. There are whiteboards, blackboards, Projectors availiable in each and every class rooms. There are sports rooms for playing indoor games such as carrom, chess, ludo and many board games. Theres Gymkhana too.

Total fees of the course and scholarships option

We pay a total amount of 135000 Rupees per year. All included in it. There are also various scholarships such as TFWS, EBC, minority etc. There are also government provided scholarships for students who fall under their criteria.

Students view on course curriculum

I chose Information Technology engineering after 12th. The course is awesome if you have interest in coding, developing softwares and specifically Technology. It includes many programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python etc. For real world this prepares you technically. If you study well, understand the concept and you know how to apply then you can sustain in the industry and not only you can aim for higher packages but also will enjoy working. The thing is they teach you many concepts that are now no longer in use. Just they all must be avoided. The exams timing ate generally 10:30 to 1:30 or else 2:30 to 5:30. Both timing are well and comfortable for all the students

Students view on faculties and examination

The faculty members of the college are very friendly and are also very cooperative. They are always ready to solve doubts even 20 times. They try to expalin any concept in different languages such as English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil (because its a Tamil minority college) too. See there are both types of faculties strict and linent as of every environment. It depends totally on the students about which faculty they like or not. The exam system is also good. They ask from the syllabus only. Not such extra out of the book questions. The checking is also okay. How much marks you will get totally depends upon how relevant answer you give to the question and the way you present.

College competitive advantage and admission process

I chose this college for two big reasons. 1) This is a Tamil minority college and i also fall under the same category. I thought that its not about 1 or 2 years but a whole of 4 years of life. So people of my native place will be there and also there will be a Tamil environment. 2) The place where I stay, there are no good engineering college nearby. Every where is travelling too far. This college was a bit nearby comparatively and since i was about to travel from train i.e Mumbai local. This travel route had comparatively less rush in the train . The admission process is either through MHT CET CAP rounds or JEE exams basis also cutoff is very high

Night Life

The college remain closed at night times. There is no hostel facility availiable. Everything closes by 7pm. No nightouts hangouts etc. Talking about locality its safe everywhere no such tensions and problems

i selected this college as it has good placements compared to other colleges in navi mumbai. also its engineering fees is low which made it even good as some other colleges have fees above 3lkhs per year ehich is not cheap. also this college is famous for its culkture and fests that happen yearly which keeps the spark in the students alive

This college was near from my home for life 5 minutes it has sports like cricket, volley ball at university level on the basis of my sports quota, I easily selected for this college. Admission needs 55% in 12th if u r from sports quota.

I have selected this college because of my less percentile in MHT-CET but this college is best as a study purpose. For admission they accept score of MHT CET and JEE MAINS through CAP round direct admission is not available in this college

This college is near by my house. So prefer this college. Addmission process is transparent. All the steps of addmission is online. If any query is there then the faculty member helps the students. Cutoffs is very high to each every cateroy.

Likes

The quality of social interaction is excellent with an active cultural group.
Washrooms are well maintained, sports rooms have good equipment as well

I had applied for MIT pune and VIT after the jee and cet exams I never recieved any feedback from MIT. However i recieved 31000 rank in VITEE and thus applied for the admission process. However i got a seat in VIT Vellore ina higher fee bracket which was not ideal. Since i believed that further education(MBA Mtech) Was also required i decided not to spend too much for a college and so chose SIES based on my CET score. I was allocated CE in SIES based of my percentile in CET but due to a mistake in the seat allocation I missed the seat, i got ECS later based in spot admission

Sies GST have very good lab facility like seperate lab for every branch of students.
The class room and lab equipments are very good .

Dislikes

The environment outside the college is very noisy due to construction site nearby.
Sies GST has small campus compared to other colleges in Mumbai.
Sies GST have attendance issue of lectures and practical.

Admission:

The admission process to take admission in sies GST is from either MHT-CET or JEE . Mostly student take admission through MHT-CET. I have also taken admission through MHT-CET with 92 percentile in it . The admission process to take admission in Sies GST is very smooth.

College environment is really calm and campus is also good but not too big.

Admission:

I chose this college because it was easier to commute to college. Travel was a concern for me. People living in Navi Mumbai, Panvel, Even Chembur side and Thane can prefer this college as the crowd is less at peak hours.

Likes

College campus and all facilites are excellent. There is regulatlr cleaning of whole campus. Everything maintained well.

Dislikes

All library system is well and good. Just the thing is during exams there are shortage of books.

Also the college organizes various expert and speaker session to get the experience of the outside world too.
There are many clubs in the college which keeps the students more excited and develop their mindset to work and engage with everyone.

Dislikes

No type of actual ground to play sports in the college.

Admission:

I wasn't sure of any college at all. I got alloted this college and this is not a bad college in my area. It is in the top 10 colleges in Mumbai university. I applied for VJTI, Sardar Patel, VESIT also but my marks were not up to the cut for them. Admission process is with the CAP round of the University, once college gets alloted we have to come to college submit all the necessary documents confirm your admission by paying fees and thats it. The exams accpeted are JEE and MHTCET.

SIES GST Navi Mumbai does not offer BA Pscyhology course to the students. It offers courses in the fields of Information and technology to the students such as Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
