Faculty were Supportive and skilled faculty

Lab equipments was quite outdated of bought since 5 yrs
Placement trainings started late and was limited
Gender ration was around 70:30 , boys to girls

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum covered core concepts well and included subjects like iot and embedded systems which influenced my choice . It gave a solid base for real projects but lacked hands on industry exposure.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements started from 6th semester . Companies like Infosys, tcs , Wipro visited offering development and associate roles . Average package was around 3-4 lpa highest was about 20lpa . About 80% has got placed

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid ?75,000 per year as a general category student, covering tution , lab, development, and other fees. SC/ST students paid around ?10,000 scholarship like merit - cum - means were available for financial aid.

Campus Life

Campus life was lively with feats like "Kalam" and "Dhruva" held in March and August . Classrooms had smart boards and library was well stocked . Clubs and sports kept students life active and balanced

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms were clean with basic amenities like cot , table , fans, and WiFi. Food was average South Indian meals on a fixed menu . Hostel registration was simple and affordable. Some rented rooms near college for more freedom

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Admission

I applied to few other colleges but chose karpagam college due to its decent placements record affordable fees. I couldn't get into top tier colleges because of my moderate hsc score . Admission process was smooth based on 12th mark

Faculty

The faculty student ratio was good and most professors were approachable and helpful. A few lacked clarity and engagement. Exams were moderate two internals and one final per semester. Passing was manageable. Few failed unless very irregular .

Night Life

Night life is quite but still chill. Hostel entry closes by 9 pm . Gym, cafeteria, and library closes by 7 pm. Hangout's like the college canteen , nearby tea shops and Brookefield malls are popular. The area is safe for short walks

DRNGPIT is a tough gig to survive!!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements happens and happens usually from September to December. Every student's are asked to appear for the interview rounds and these opportunities are provided to us in our second last semester. Mostly all are placed before the final semester of theirs.

Placement Experience:

Here Placement are very good. For CS and IT placement packages around 1 crore per annum are available. For mechanical it starting from 12 lakhs per annum. ECE and all 60 lakhs per annum. The requirements of the students is CGPA of 8 and above. PLACEMENT WELL HANDELED BY ACADEMY.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students are allowed to attend the placement. Many companies are visiting our college for example cadens, mistral, tessolve, vvdn, and for software TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, CTS, HCL etc. The highest average pack for a student in our college is 12 lakh per annum. Above 7 CGPA is eligible for the campus.
