Course Curriculum Overview
my elder cousion suggested me , I was also intrested in robitcs and all . The curriculum was just update this year only so my batch relays on old one which is not that good. the improments are made for the new curriculum by replaing 3 subjects of 6th semester to 3 month of industrial training which provides hands on experince. frequecy and timing of exams are set by university so they varies.
Internships Opportunities
companies have only offered training that to paid training some interships were offered but there criteia wants high cgpa which is usually not possible in my branch . I made a self balancing robot as our minor project in our 5th semester which give me understanding of how DIY boards like arduino esp etc work and how to interface it with varies other components or other boards.(project was related from my vocational training)
Placement Experience
from 7th semester the sutendents become eligible for campus placements , recently a company named vrize visited highest packges goes upto 7 lakhs per annum , less than 20 % get placed on campus . my plans is join Indian army after college completion.
Fees and Financial Aid
While taking admission we pay 2,000 as admission and development and other fee included in it and tution fee is 18,000 every year and every year admission fee from 2nd year is 1890. OBC , SC , ST are given scholarship of 21000 which they use to pay their fees . top 3 general category students of each branch gets a total fee wavier
Campus Life
annual tech fest is called Aavesh and annual sport fest is called aayam they are held in between january to june the library is divided into 2 parts 1 part is open for all and anybody can issue the books from there and there is a special section from where only st,sc can issue the books others can only read there. As every college it also has a working projector and a geen board and awhite board . only for a limited time sports are allowed during the fest . there are two student run social groups and they take a stand for students wellfare.
Admission
No I did not get rejected from any other colleges, as I had a good rank in my entrance exams. admission in the college is in 3 steps .1st we apply for the colleges in the online portal Then afterwards we have to go to a nearby document verification centre nearby and after everything in done on the basis of our rank, the colleges are allotted and we have to go there and take admission
Faculty
faculty to student ratio is 1:20 and most of the faculty are approcahable .in the begining they may seem to be quiet rude . naming any faculty is too personal so i can't but i will like to tell what i liked about them is there teaching skills , humours jokes , and understanding of the students situation. there are 8 semester exams and it is moderate level.
Night Life
no there is no gym libraies close after 5 and college closes after 7 hostels are not available so . its on a village so it closes very soon to hang out we need to ride 13 km inside city . locality is safe but some area are not safe.
