Insight of GEC Raipur

Relevance of the course is average The aspect of choosing EEE department was thinking of future career opportunities. Real world and academic carriculum both are different but it does teach you how to handle pressure , taking good decision at right time how to manage time etc.

Campus placement is average , small company come to the college, offers low packages TCS ,Wipro, etc On campus highest placement is 8 lakhs Percentage of getting placed is 50 % if you're eligible for the certain job My plan to after graduation is persuade masters degree from IIT.

The tution fees is is 9000 rs per semester And yearly it is 18000 rs Admission fees is about 2100rs Caution money 1000 rs Lab fees is 500 rs But if you are belongs from sc/st category then tution fees is 100% off If you are girl or from OBC category with the annual income of less than 300000 rs then your fees will be also off 100% . But if you're parents are government servent then you have to pay all the tution fees. My branch mates pays only 2800 rs because some of them belongs from st/school category I paid 21000 rs because I don't have income certificate. They are many scholarship like NSP, fees waiver, merit based cum, and many more. Maximum scholarship amount vary between 15000-30000rs.

The name of annual fest in our college is aavesh And sports fest is aayam The gap between them is 6 months Library is easily accessible and best places in college the library has all things books computer etc which needs to students for study. Technical provisions are average rather than say it bellow average. Sports has great. Impact on college so college focus on it. There are NSS group, code for community , music club name surbhi, lok for language interpretation, and many more which impact students.

I didn't apply for other colleges because this is best engineering College of my state after nit and IIT Admission process was simple after getting allotment letter we have to reach college on the day of admission and take admission form fill the details submit your fees and it's done.

Faculty to students ratio is about 1:30 Faculties are experienced in there fields they are all honorable. They are always willing to help students. Our mathematics faculty and BEEE faculty is best among all they teach you everything in best way possible they give you some time good life lessons. Our fundamentals of computer faculty is bit of just write this and that type but every one has there unique teaching style. In a semester there will be 2 CT and then semester exam plus labs, internal / external, practical exam. And surprise test is common. Course curriculum is bit off because I am in first year and the course is similar to 12 th subjects somewhat.

Gym is currently unavailable in college, but there are many exercise machine, Cafeteria is good and also have tech cafe, Hostel is currently not available for students because it's in construction process. There are many hangouts places like tech cafe and many more , night life i didn't experience much .
