Likes

Some of the professors are very passionate about their subject.
The sports culture is one of the best in kj somaiya.
There are various companies on campus and off campus that offer good placement to the students.

Dislikes

ROI is very low as college fees are high.
Canteen food is also not upto to the mark. There are no varities on the menu.
Despite being autonomous college they don't have updated syllabus. They follow Mumbai University.

A positive atmosphere to learn and grow

Placement Experience:

The campus placements usually take place during the 7th and the 8th semester. Many companies namely Accenture, LTI, media.net, MuSigma, etc. visit the college. 80% of the students have jobs by the time they graduate. The faculty makes sure that each and every student has a job. I am planning to study further and pursue Masters.

A decent college

Positive thing is they organised a alumni party also this year which was also on large scale with all the alumni students with all the fun activities and negative thing is they need to hire a more proffesional staff.

Remarks:

I don't think Engineering from any private engineering college is worth your time.You should always look for better opportunities.But if you want to settle for 3 to 4 lpa then engineering colleges are good for you.

This college will give you countless memories and prepare you for the world. This college can truly benefit with some infrastructural advancements and better labs. But no complains whatsoever. Students can be asked to be more inclined towards having a research bend of mind too.
