The IT infrastructure is one of the best so far. The labs are well equipped with latest equipment.The library is fully stocked and ones you are a student you can access any library under somaiya.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose IT because I loved computers and wanted to learn more about softwares and things that can be done with their help. The faculty of IT is really good. They follow new methods to teach students in an interactive way.
Internships Opportunities
After every semester the college has started with an internship program where students according to their preferences are allocated to companies where they have to intern. These internships provide the students with the experience of working in companies.
Placement Experience
The campus placements usually take place during the 7th and the 8th semester. Many companies namely Accenture, LTI, media.net, MuSigma, etc. visit the college. 80% of the students have jobs by the time they graduate. The faculty makes sure that each and every student has a job. I am planning to study further and pursue Masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is around 1.3 lakhs it differs for every year. The college provides EBC Scholarship which helps students financially
Campus Life
KJSIEIT has its technical fest "Renaissance" in the month of September and the cultural fest "Surge" in March. These fests are an important aspects of a student's life here. The library has a wide collection of books and many students are found there studying. It also has computers so students can access whatever they want. The sports fest "Score" is conducted during the cultural fest and it receives a huge response from all the students of our college as well as students from other colleges. There are many technical committees and students can join whichever committee they like. There is a student council too.
