Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum was not a part which influenced my decision for this college The curriculum for first year is simply not good, from second year they introduce subjects like data structures and algorithms which helps a lot for job preparation Instead of C we can use better languages for DS Exam timings and difficulty are perfect in my opinion and should stay the same

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship opportunities are pretty less in the college (as provided by them) although if you get one outside of the college you can get some attendance if you fill a form and do the right process, faculties also provide internships under them

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for placement after 6th semester Companies are: JP Morgan, Gupshup Technology, Deloitte, Oracle, Goldmann Sachs, etc This year highest was from Google 51.7 Lpa Roughly 70 percent student who apply are placed I plan to take a job and sit for placements

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no scholarships in general.. the first year fees (tution-2023 admissions) was 4.75 lakhs which will increase by 10 percent every year so it will reach somewhere around 6 lakhs by the end of the degree, there are no reservation quotas except for gujarati minority although fees is the same fir everyone

Campus Life

4

There are many fests like Abhiyatriki (tech fest), Symphony (The best one) and many other fests All types of books and journals are available in the library along with a reading room There are ACs in the classroom and all labs are well equipped Various types of sports activities are there on campus along with a university team SAHAS

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facilities are, honestly meh.. they aren't so good, meal quality is decent from a hostel mess perspective and menu changes everyday.. although it becomes monotonous after a point Registration is after you take admission in college you have to go to admission office It is in Vidyavihar

Admission

I chose this over other colleges based on average package and the name value I couldn't make it to other colleges because of my JEE score For admission you should apply from their official website in engineering section, the admission start from somewhere around April(the forms)

Faculty

4

Faculty to student relationship varies a lot depending on the faculty.. some are very strict but don't teach well, some teach well but are lenient, some both teach well and are strict and vice versa. There are two main exams mid sem and end sem along with other practical/ internal tests which take place throughout the semester

Interview Experience

5

None.. There was no as such of a group discussion or an interview.. it was a direct admission after I filled the form from the official Website First Fill the form then wait for a reply ... The reply you get will tell you the branch alloted as per your priority list in the form

Night Life

3

Only hostel has night life that too is restricted till 11PM,we have a night mess which starts after 11PM, so midnight cravings have their solutions, other than that we are allowed to enter hostel by 12 if we mail the warden prior

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
