IPGMER Kolkata Admission 2025
IPGMER Kolkata grants admission to courses such as MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing, MD, MS, M.Ch, and Doctorate of Medicine along with Diploma courses. IPGMER Kolkata Admission commences in the month of July every year. Students interested in admission at IPGMER must meet the required eligibility criteria and secure the required cutoff in the entrance examination. Applications are available online on the official website @ipgmer.gov.in. Candidates securing the required marks can choose IPGMER during the WBMCC Counselling (West Bengal NEET Counselling) process.
Admissions to medical courses will be provided based on NEET scores, followed by West Bengal NEET Counselling. Candidates have to register for the counselling on the official website of WBMCC @wbmcc.nic.in. The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC), Government of Meghalaya, will conduct the counselling in the online mode.
Candidates have to register and get their documents verified. Further, they to lock in their choices and pay the counselling fee of INR 1500 to INR 2000 depending on their course. Eligible students need to check the official website of WBMCC for the list of shortlisted candidates. Second and third rounds of counselling will be conducted, if any, to fill any remaining or vacant seats.
Further, admission to nursing and paramedical courses will be through the entrance examinations such as JENPAS UG, JEPAS, PG, and JEMScN conducted by WBJEEB, followed by the WBUHS counselling session. The institute or WBUHS will announce the merit list of qualified candidates. Selected candidates have to pay the admission fee and submit their documents for confirmation of their seat allotted.
