Afforability of the course as expense is about 1 lakh per annum. ~ Dhruv Rana, MBA
The course fee is very affordable. There is no need of taking loans like IIMs which stand as high as 25 lakhs
As the fees is very low, ROI factor comes in. The average package for the year 2024 was 14.9 lpa which is even higher than half of IIMS.
The college is student driven. Everything starting from placements, events, festivals and even various courses for upskilling
Dislikes
The infrastructure is not that good. It is being improved right now. May be in few months we will have more space and bigger rooms.
Seats at hostels are very very less, so the accomodation cost will be comparatively double the fees we pay.
There are no playgrounds of our own, so in order to play any kind of sports we need to book grounds at far off places.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is detailed and mixture of theory and few practical approaches. We learn through various case based approaches and various assignments are provided. But one thing is following the DU ritual, half of classes gets cancelled.
Delhi as a location delhi is the centre for everything
Students driven college students takes the best for themselves
Dislikes
Campus is small compared to other b schools
Gender diversity is low compared to other b schools
Faculty is old, need to be restructured on a basis
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is very old in my opinion it should be updated according to the old iims so that it could be on par with the time table of corporate industry also class world is not the real world it should be real world concentrated
Campus is fully student driven which gives us various opportunites to improve ourselves
Great faculty members with years of expertise and Ac classrooms.
We get a lot of free time to do other things than lectures
Dislikes
Girls to boys ratio is bad, In HRD it is like 13:67,while in IB this goes to 7:73
Now construction is going on ,so less space in the campus
Mandatory Attendence ,which is bad and doesn’t give us chance to do internships

Placement Experience:

The first thing which is USP of MBA program of DSE is, it is a student run campus where student get opportunity to gain hands on experience on management.
If we are talking about DSE we can't ignore ROI factor which we get that is one of the best in India
The vibrant Delhi University north campus, where we get to interact with students from diverse background.
Dislikes
Particular if we talk about Department of Commerce, Department need rennovation in its infrastructure
Curriculam should be updated and more real life case study should be included in the classes
Placement Experience:
From 3rd semester student become eligible for campus placement, prominent recruiter of MBA-HRD are JPMC, Morgan Stanley, AON consultancy, Deloitte, Infosys, Tupperware, Public Sapient, ICICI bank, ICICI Securities,Mahindra Finance, etc.
Roles which are offered are TA, HRBP , HR Analyst, etc and ~95% of student get placed from last batch.
The ROI is the best part of the college, even though the fees has increased from the last time significantly. The ROI is still one of the best in India
Being in the DSE campus, you get to interact with a lot of people from different streams.
Placements are pretty good, almost whole of the batch gets placed.
Dislikes
Poor management from the Dean of college.
College is student driven, lacks help from the faculties in organizing events.
Curriculum is more theoratical and less practical. Very outdated syllabus.

Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for final placements in third semester and summer placements in the first semester itself.
We have many big names here in the campus JP Morgan Chase and Co, Morgan Stanley, AON, ICICI Bank, Atomberg, Hindalco, Deloitte, KPIT, Samsung, etc.
Almost all the students get placed here. I'd the percentage is above 90.
The highest placement offered was 26LAC+ and the average stood at 14lacs.
I am currently intern at a company via the college placements and am working towards getting a PPO. If I get one, I plan on staying in the same company.
low fees is one of the best thing that dse offers.
The legacy of Delhi University and it's widely recognised name .
The flexibility of being a day scholar you are free to do anything beyond college.
Dislikes
Old infrastructure and lack of proper space is a concern.
Lack of Industry visit and practical learning.
Not conducting Gdpi round is a concerning thing for overall batch profile.
Course Curriculum Overview:
As the name suggests International buisness is similar to general mba course only but in International perspective , we usually study the specific International studies from the sem 1 itself . I am from commerce background so choosing a general mba was the best decision and ib course structure is similar to that.
dse has dual semester system like exams afe conducted once in 6 months. Only the practical learning and Industry visit is lacking in the dse mba ib course structure.
Low fees was the key factor for choosing this college
Diversity: Having people from various background
The Delhi university vibrant and young population
Dislikes
No interviews for admission process in MBA
No involvement of department in placements
Bit old infrastructure like old classrooms
Placement Experience:
Return on investment is the best thing at dse. People get roles in each domain be it consulting ,BFSI etc
The average stand around 15 lakhs per Annum. Most of the students plan to pursue their career in corporate sector only.
People from diverse background come together to pursue a management degree we get to learn alot from everyone.
low fees so mba isn't a burden and we don't have to take student loan.
Faculties are well qualified with having various research papers published and work experience.
Dislikes
Not having interview round for admissions.
very low number of seats in MBA department
No inclusion of department in placement process.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is similar to general mba but in global prospect. The student faculty Ratio is around 19:1 the faculties are well qualified with every faculty member having phd degree and experience of more than 4-5 years in teaching. there are few teachers whom I personally appreciate like Ashish sir and Niti mam their way of teaching is quite unique . We have dual semester system here and the examination part isn't very hectic here.
Cheap fees are probably the biggest motivator for people to join
My batch is very friendly and very helpful
The college gives you enough freedom to branch out into your own interests
Dislikes
Too relaxed and there is no academic stress
Teaching leaves a lot to be desired and most of the coursework is outdated
Teaching is entirely theory based and there are no case based lectures.
Placement Experience:
Summer placements starts within 3 months of joining, there are a couple of good names recruiting and they all come in the first few months, after that its a struggled. The situtation is much better for finals and we acheive almost a 100% placements for finals every year. The placement average has been stable at around 14 lakhs per year for a while now.
Low fees makes dse one of the best colleges in roi
Dislikes
Old infrastructure, sometimes it becomes hard to accommodate all the classes
Low batch size leads to have less pool of students for companies.
Not having personal interview or group discussion round in admission process.
Placement Experience:
Placements at Dse are quite good we have an average of around 15 lakhs and roles offered varies from consulting , finance , marketing , banking etc .No of companies coming on campus varies year to year.
Dse hold 100% placement figures one of the key reason for choosing dse over other b schools.
