Tinsukia College, established in 1956 is affiliated to Dibrugarh University and has been accredited by NAAC with a 'B+' grade. The college offers admission to various UG courses. Initially, the college offered courses only related to Arts stream but later commerce stream was also introduced. The mode of admission is online and selection is completely merit based, as per the guidelines of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council and the Dibrugarh University.
It is a premier educational institute with over 2500 students and more than 80 faculty members. The college offers all the basic facilities such as Auditorium, Canteen, Computer Lab, Library, Medical Facilities, Sports, Transportation, etc. It also has a vibrant study centre of Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University offering Three Years Degree Courses

Tinsukia College Admissions
Initially, the admission process was done in offline mode where the student had to visit the college for application form. However, currently the admissions are done through online mode only. The selection is strictly based on merit score.
How to Apply?
- The students must visit the official website of the college and click Admission Portal.
- Click on Admission Portal for New Admission.
- New students must register themselves by entering their name and phone number.
- The same will be verified by sending an OTP to the phone number provided.
- The student can now login and enter the required details.
- The list of selected candidates will be put up on the official website of the college.
- These students must visit the college along with the following original documents for verification :
- 10/HSLC/ ICSE/ CBSE Pass certificates with date of birth proof.
- HSS or equivalent Marks Card
- Transfer certificate from the School/ College last attended
- Conduct Certificate
- Migration Certificate in the case of students who have passed any exams other than H.S. exam under AHSEC.
- Students seeking reservation need to submit caste certificate issued by competent authority
- Address Proof (Latest Telephone Bill/ Gas Connection Bill)
- 3 passport size photographs.
- The student must check for updates regularly as the admission must be done within the last date. Any delay will lead to cancelation and the seat will be granted to someone else.
- The fee payment can only be done through online mode.
- The student can use the same username and password created during registration to login.
- Payment can be done through Debit Card, Credit Card or Internet Banking.

- Hostel Facility: With the aim of providing home like experience, this college offers Girls hostel with a capacity of 124 and Boys hostel with 30 vacancies for students staying in the remote or far away areas from the college.

- Drinking water and supplies are very good in our college anyone can take hot or cold water from machine and also the college environment is very good

I am a SC candidate so it was not much for me to get percentage for addmission my naked came in the first addmission list out of the 3 and we filled the form in samarth portal it was a new system for us as online admission was first did with us so we where not much aware of what happened i would say they there should be a proper management so that upcoming students can understand how to get addmission or Fill up forms
