Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University, Madhepura was founded in 1992 by the Ratification of Bihar State. This is a Co-Educational State University that is approved by UGC. (Bihar State Universities Amendment Act 1991) was enacted in August 1991 bifurcating L. N. Mithila University, Darbhanga, and a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The university is also called B. N. Mandal University.

The University offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Science, Arts, and Commerce streams. The University has the Department of Arts (BA with different streams), Commerce (B.Com ), Science (B.Sc with different streams), Computer Science (B.Sc), Business Administration (MBA), Physical Education (BPEd), Law(BL), and Medicine (MBBA & MD).

The mode of the application process is online through the university website and the admission process is based on merit and must clear entrance conducted by the state Common Entrance Test (CET).

The university is equipped with all modern facilities. Various teaching and learning techniques are used to instil knowledge and skills to the students of the University.

BNMU Madhepura Admissions

Admission to BA, B.Sc., B. Com, BCA, BBA, MA, M.Sc.,M.Com is based on the marks scored in the marks and/or qualifying interview conducted by the University.

For B.Tech must clear JEE Mains.

Admission to MBBS will be granted on the basis of NEET UG.

B.Ed Admission is done based on the national common entrance test by the state-level from the BNM.

Admission to MD will be done on the basis of NEET PG.

How to Apply?

Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University application process is performed in offline mode.

Candidates can obtain the application form at the admissions office of the University Campus BNM or from the official website.
Candidates will have to fill out the application form and send it along with the processing fee necessary to use cash or bank transfer.
DD should be in favour of the "Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University" and pay Madhepura.
Candidates can also pick up the package from the application of various libraries by paying the application fee.
Candidates also can send a letter of application along with Demand Draft for the application form by mail.
Completed applications must be submitted at the offices of the University along with the fee and required documentation within the stipulated time.
All duly completed forms of application must be submitted/sent to the university, campus along with documents.

BNMU Madhepura Facilities

Hostel: There is a great hostel on the university campus accommodation facilities that have local and remote students. Girls hostels are also available to accommodate students at the University Campus.
Laboratory: All Department of Psychology and Geography including laboratory has been equipped with teaching and research. Research facilities are available in all departments of the university. Science labs equipped with modern equipment necessary for research.
Library: The University has a Library, in addition to the Library Department. The library has approximately lakh books, thousands of manuscripts, and some other reading materials. University Library is truly paradise for readers having a wide range of ancient literature and modern, and books as well as national and international journals. It also gives students an excellent collection of books on Management, Library Science Education, Tourism Management, Computer, and Communications mass.
Health: University-cum-Health Care Pharmacies provide a medical facility for Student Teachers and other employees who are on the University Campus and the exit side of the university campus round the clock. It has the services of three doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff numbers sufficient support.
Sports: Special care was taken to develop modern sports facilities on campus. A large sports complex is located on the campus for Outdoor & Indoor different games, especially for athletics, with the help of the Sports Authority of India, New Delhi. A sports training centre to be established soon.
Computer: Proficiency in computer applications is now clearly an integral part of every curriculum teaching and training. BN Mandal University offers professional courses, Library & Information Science, etc. along with other professional programs and has set up an advanced computer centre. In addition to lab facilities in the different programs available at the University Headquarters, a constituent college of the University also has been equipped with computer and language laboratories at the headquarters of different districts.

Rm college sa saharsa

Likes

Education system of college and exam pattern are very good
So many Good places for sitting in campus.
All the teachers are helping and supporting.

Dislikes

Wet Ground in Rainy season. We suffer from accesive water.
Student gathering also not good for good students.
No such a good places for proper vehicle parking.

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

In Rm college I got offered from all courses but I selected Bachelor of arts specially political science for my graduation. In college teachers are very good at teaching. Some areas needs to really important to improvement that is timing of class.

Campus internship opportunities and stipend

Royal Enfield showroom came to our college and gives opportunity to students do internship in their service centre. You have also got some good stipend for internship. That approximately goes to 10k to 20k per month.

What are the placement opportunities in the college?

In some courses like Bachelor of computer science and bachelor in business administration you have got your placement in Last semester. Bajaj auto, royal Enfield, maruti suzuki and so many companies comes for placement. Atleast 35% students got selected in placements.

Fees structure of the course

Prospectus fee is 100 rupees, Form fee is goes to 50 rupees and when we talk about Addmission fee it's goes around 1200 Indian rupees. Tution fee and other fees combined not exceeding 700 rupees. Transportation not available in college campuses.

Social Life in college is also so good. Teachers day is famous in this college. On 5 September so many cultural fest organized by college. Farewell function also organised in very good way. Students have to apply in many programs.

Faculty and learning experience in the campus

The education system of the college is very good and student to techer ratio is approximately 50:1. This is good for students. All the facilities are being proper knowledgeful and very helpful. We interact daily with teachers.

At first you have to apply in Bihar board offical website. we you receive call letter from board then visit college and take addmission. First you have to complete your 12th and you have minimum 45% marks in your inter.

Admission:

I choose this college because it is a muslim minority college. And there are benefits not as such for us. People who apply for BPL card they get their tuition fee cut off totally. BPL card is Below Poverty Level Card.

The best part about my colleges, we had an exposure to regular hospital duties which gave us and on ground idea of how this industry works
The campus size is very large which allows access to multiple departments that is widening the learning opportunity

Dislikes

The timetable sometimes is very mismanaged. Did last time is collides with lunch break and classes also overlap sometime.

since I am a medical student, so I I gave Neet UG exam to get admission for a MBBS course. I choose this particular university because the patient inflow hair is very high. So you have a better learning opportunity of how to treat patients how to handle them and what goes around in medical postings. Most of the colleges offer postings in fourth year, but my college offer postings from second year it self We are also given on ground camps to go to every 15 days and take feedback from regular villages and follow-up on the regular health updates. So this is something that really interested me and and helps me to take my decision.

The infrastructure is very good.All lans are well equipped.
No annual fests are organised and no fresher party is given.

Dislikes

For essentials you need to go outside the campus and not easily available nearby.

Admission:

This college is ranked as the best private college in bihar for mbbs. I had got 606 marks in neet 2023 but the cutoff was 610 for all india quota for medical colleges. So in the end I had to switch to private colleges in the counselling and hence by that time all seats in good private colleges were filled. I got admission in Katihar in last round of bihar state counselling.

One should be pass from any recognised board with aggregate 45%. No any entrance exam are held for admission. Admission is taken on mark basis. Student have to fill one application form via online on official website of the university. Merit list are declared by university with designated college and course.

To get admission, you need to have passed last qualifying exam with 50% marks and selection is based on merit except for courses like B.Sc, B.Tech and NEET where admission is done based on CET, JEE and NEET respectively.
