Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University Or B. N. Mandal University (BNMU) is located at the Madhepura in Bihar. It is a regional university famous for its quality teaching across the state which was established in the year 1992. This university also acts as an affiliating institution and provided various graduate programs through several colleges and institutes located in Purnia, Madhepura, Supaul & Saharsa.

BNMU offers UG and PG courses in the field of Social Sciences/Humanities, Sciences, Technology and Commerce.

Candidates have to apply through the official website of the University.
Candidate applying for undergraduate level courses should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board.

Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University UG Courses Admission 2024

Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University offers BA, B.Sc., B. Com, BCA, BBA, B.Tech, and MBBS degree courses at the undergraduate level.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board to be eligible to apply for BA, BCA, BBA, and B. Com programs. For B.Sc., B.Tech, and MBBS program, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology as subjects in Class XII with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Admission is done based on marks scored in the qualifying marks and/or interview conducted by the University. The merit list will be prepared for all categories based on applicants’ marks at 10+2. Applicants will be called for the admission process as per the merit list.

Key Points:

All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.
For BCA and BBA courses candidates must also have Mathematics and English as a compulsory subject respectively.
Candidates applying for Honours program shall have to pass the Class XII with a minimum of 65% marks.

Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University PG courses Admission 2024

Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University offers MA, M.Sc., M.Com, and B.Ed. degree courses at the postgraduate level.

Candidates must have graduation/bachelors degree in the relevant subject(s) obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India to be eligible to apply for the postgraduate degree program. For M.Sc. program, candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in B.Sc.

For admission to B. Ed, candidates must have must either a BA, or B. Sc., or B. Com from any recognized university with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Admission is done on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying marks and/or interview conducted by the University. The merit list will be prepared for all categories based on applicants marks at the graduation level. Applicants will be called for admission process as per the merit list.

For B. Ed admission is done through a state level counseling conducted by the BNM University on the basis of state common entrance test.

Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University Application Process

Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University application procedure is carried out in offline mode. Candidates can obtain the prescribed application form from the official website. Candidates will have to submit the duly filled-in application forms to the University campus/office along with the processing fee and the required documents.

Once the form is submitted, candidates will have to wait for the announcement of the merit list cum notice to find out whether they have been shortlisted or not for the admission process. The merit list will be available on the official website of the University.

The intimation about the date, time and venue of the admission process will be done through the merit list only.

Here are the steps to apply:

Candidates can get the application form from the Admission office of BNM University Campus or from the official website.
Candidates will have to fill in the Application Form and submit it along with the required processing fee using cash or Demand Draft.
DD should be made in favour of “Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University” and payable at Madhepura.
Candidates can also collect the application pack from various bookstore by paying the application fee.
Candidates can also send a request letter along with Demand Draft to get the application form by post.
Completed applications should be submitted at the University offices along with the fee and necessary enclosures within the stipulated time.
All the duly filled in application form should be submitted/sent to the University Campus, along with the documents.

Self–attested copy of the provisional or original certificate of Class XII mark sheet.
Community certificate, SC/ST/OBC (as assigned by competent authority)
Self-attested copy of income certificate, in case of OBC non-creamy layer (if applicable)

One copy of recent passport size photograph to be affixed in the admission form

Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University Scholarship

Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University offers Scholarship Scheme for economically weak/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped and Female Students studying at the University.

Eligibility for Scholarship:

Students who come from an economically weak background, and/or belong to the minority class.
Income of the parents of the candidate applying for Scholarship should not be more than INR 2.5 Lakh per annum from all sources.

Candidates will have to apply for this scholarship with all the relevant documents(as specified below). Only applications that are complete, and include all relevant documents will be considered.

Glimpse about Katihar Medical College

Admission:

I choose this college because it is a muslim minority college. And there are benefits not as such for us. People who apply for BPL card they get their tuition fee cut off totally. BPL card is Below Poverty Level Card.

since I am a medical student, so I I gave Neet UG exam to get admission for a MBBS course. I choose this particular university because the patient inflow hair is very high. So you have a better learning opportunity of how to treat patients how to handle them and what goes around in medical postings. Most of the colleges offer postings in fourth year, but my college offer postings from second year it self We are also given on ground camps to go to every 15 days and take feedback from regular villages and follow-up on the regular health updates. So this is something that really interested me and and helps me to take my decision.

Katihar Medical College Honest Review

Admission:

This college is ranked as the best private college in bihar for mbbs. I had got 606 marks in neet 2023 but the cutoff was 610 for all india quota for medical colleges. So in the end I had to switch to private colleges in the counselling and hence by that time all seats in good private colleges were filled. I got admission in Katihar in last round of bihar state counselling.

Admission:

At first you have to apply in Bihar board offical website. we you receive call letter from board then visit college and take addmission. First you have to complete your 12th and you have minimum 45% marks in your inter.
