- However on academic success, they aslo offer scholarships which reduces the course fee by 70%.
- The alumni of this very institution are placed at top company and firms like deloitte,kpmg,ey etc
- The faculty is quite good and the library is filled to the brim with books. most members of the faculty are very friendly and always ready to help students with doubts.
Dislikes
- Canteen food horrible in taste no chips no chocolates no cheese no butter no options very bad
- There was very poor coordination among the administration and faculty. Sometimes the adminstration didn't even think of the students.
- Attendance not giving for events if no attendance they debar the students without any rehem

- Campus, aura, environment, facilities, professors.
- Best thing about the college was it's campus.
- Other than that the facilities which were given were to notch.

- Placement could have been better but anyways due to corona we had to face the heat..
- The problem of inadequate time. We had very limited time due to all the semesters being spend in online classes
- There could have been more fests. But unfortunately we did not have.
Course Curriculum Overview:
From the very beginning, I had a keen interest in anchoring and wanted to become a sports anchor. Especially, a cricket anchor which is the very reason I chose this course. My faculty had two guest lecturers and three full-time lecturers. They all had Ph.D. qualifications.

Placement Experience:
From the third semester hopefully. From the first batch of MBA, almost 80% of students got placements.
I'll probably do my preparation for government jobs and will go for civil service examinations and also will build my skills in the Japanese language

Their campus placement is ready well. They bring in big brands and companies under whom we can intern and later on do a job under the companies. About 90% of the students get placement in the university campusing.

The curriculum was great, and was quite to my liking. Also, the university was one which was highly known for its standard of education and discipline. The infrastructure looked promising as well which was an additional reason to opt for this university.

Brand name, Reputation. SXUK is a new university and the faculty is supposedly very attentive towards their students. About the course I wanted to do my Masters in Mass Communication because of the opportunities it has in future. For the time being I am fixated on joining the corporate world and this course is a kind of a push in that direction.

One of the main factors to choose Xavier's was obviously the brand name. But later getting to know such great professors who are extremely approachable and helpful and are always trying to give us ample exposure as possible.

The brand name of St. Xavier's,
I wanted to do a master's course in mass communication and there were very limited good options in West Bengal,
I wanted exposure to a life in a metro city,
Xavier's was my first choice.

The main reason is the world class education facility the university provides, followed by highly qualified and experienced faculty. Other than these the university has a perfect environment for young minds to develop and learn.

One can say never say No to St. Xavier's. Academic wise it is one of the best institutions in India to pursue your dreams. Faculty is very good and helpful. It has a pleasant atmosphere which motivates students to work hard. The university maintains strict discipline which is required to build a professional attitude among students.

Remarks:
I opted for this course because of two reasons. one, i had a bachelors degree in the same subject area, and two, i have always been interested in studying mass communication. the infrastructure & facilities of the university are great. the syllabus and course structure is one of the major reasons for selecting this university and this course too. a lot of practical work, and assignments are inclusive in the course structure giving us better understanding of what our main calling is, in the long run.
