Remarks
I chose this college because of its educational environment and also because my subject is best taught here. This university has well-qualified professors and staff. The college provides us with various opportunities in other fields too. Like, dance, singing, social work, and other extracurricular activities. Because this is a university-affiliated under UGC, their degree is well accepted and highly considered in foreign universities as well. Their syllabus structure is organized in such a way that will help you learn, make learning and knowing your subject interesting along with, giving knowledge regarding other entrance tests for further studies (PhD, post-doctorate).l. All their reviews are top-class. The classrooms have ACs. The canteen is lovely. And there is greenery everywhere. This gives us freshness all day. They are a bit strict with their dress code of the students, which is necessary at times. Overall I have had all good experiences for now.
Course Curriculum Overview
I did my graduation in English and I wasn't satisfied with that. I wanted to learn more about my subject so I chose to pursue my Master's in English as well. At Xavier's, the faculties have great qualifications. They are all highly qualified and experienced. They know their subject/topic, really well and they can deliver it to the students with equal interest as well. A time-to-time assessment is created to evaluate the progress of a student. According to my, this is a great way of helping us students have the knowledge we need for our subject and our degree. They are very strict with their attendance. A 75% attendance is a must to sit for the end-semester exams. There are 8 faculty members in our department, for a class strength of 40 students. The university has the option of smart class which has been really helpful and interesting so far. The classes are enjoyable as the professors sometimes use the form of media (movies, video clips) to make us understand the issue better.
Placement Experience
Their campus placement is ready well. They bring in big brands and companies under whom we can intern and later on do a job under the companies. About 90% of the students get placement in the university campusing.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are a bit high according to me. It might not be affordable for all. Because they provide centralized air conditioning for the students the hike might be reasonable. But it is really not affordable.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is great. There are grounds for footballs and any other sports. There is a basketball ground. The place is just heavenly. All the classrooms, and the canteen everything is very clean. The washrooms are very hygienic and clean.
Interview Experience
I face a written test. It's basically an overall analysis as to how well you know your subject. The questions are mainly based on the learning of the undergraduate years. But there are a few questions that are from the outer knowledge of the subject. This way they test you how well you know your subject from the parts that aren't in your syllabus.
