Rabindra Bharati University admission 2024 are open. Candidates can register for UG Arts courses through the Centralized WBCAP Portal (wbcap.in). The last date to submit the RBU Application form 2024 and edit/cancel the registration is July 07, 2024. The first merit list and seat allotment results will be released on July 12, 2024.

Rabindra Bharati University (RBU) is a UGC-approved public university, established in 1962 in Kolkata, India. Established in honor of Dr.Rabindranath Tagore, RBU provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various disciplines. RBU offers courses in Music, Arts, Fine Arts, Dance, Drama, and Social Sciences, across its 3 faculties. The three faculties are the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Fine Arts, and the Faculty of Visual Arts.

The admission to RBU is based on merit and the filling of applications is done online only. RBU Admissions 2024

The University admissions depend on merit, of an applicant, in the qualifying examinations. The mode of application process is online. Once a student applies online, they must wait for the selection list announcements. The selected students have to proceed with the document verification and fee payment. How to apply for RBU Admissions?

Candidates who wish to take admission to RBU need to follow the below steps:

First, go to the official website of RBU and create the User ID.
Login with the newly created user ID and password and proceed to the application.
Fill out the application form details.
Upload the photograph and signature (size not more than 100 KB).
Pay the application fee of INR 250 through Credit or Debit Card.
Click on Submit and Save & take the printout of the duly filled application form.

RBU Campus Facilities and Infrastructure

RBU has 3 campuses located in Kolkata. The main campus is situated in Emerald Bower and the others are at Jorasanka and Salt Lake. Library: RBU library system includes the central library of the main campus, Sangeet Bhavan library, and other departmental libraries. College is very good. The campus is very good. The faculty is very good. All teachers are good. They teach us in a very good way. There is a library with many books. There is a canteen. They help each and every student.
As it is an art and fine arts university, students will have a wide exposure to learning about art and culture.

Dislikes

Since the department places a higher importance on attendance percentage, it is quite difficult to opt for internships.
There are no fee hike policies on our campus; costs are actually low compared to other colleges or universities. I recently received the Kanyasree scholarship, and there are some other scholarships available as well. I do not have a job on campus, and the university does not provide jobs.

faculty's expertise, teaching methods, and mentorship quality are very good assignment are given.queestion are very good they help us in many ways the ex student are very helpful and the students are very friendly to each other helpfull and support

Dislikes

The classes are long time there is Just 20 minutes break over 11to 4pm class
There is no canteen in the college or any free time spending area in the college there is only one girl's toilet

Admission:

Anyone who has passed a bachelor course with 50% marks is eligible. But he/she should be passed out not more than 2 years before of the date of application. There is more than 400 seats in the main campus and there is a process of direct admission after fee payment.

To enrole in Masters of Arts in English Literature one has to complete Graduation from regular course. And one must have to have clear minimum cutoff. Every year cut-offs varies based on the overall graduation result. So to pursue masters one must ensure to aquire good marks in graduation

Depending on the program, classes may have a high number of students. This could make it harder to get individual attention from professors.
There may not be enough on-campus housing for all students.

Eligibility of this course was passing graduation on bachelor of arts (philosophy). We filled out the form and then the merit list was announced according to the result. Application forms are released on the university website after graduation.

It is a 3years course. Application forms are available online, application fees are 100 and something, and dates are available based on their course I want distance learning based on online education from those students who are working or do not want to go daily basis colleges.

University have to make it more details on their website so we can access it more clearly however for sc, st, and obc students get more privilege than any general candidates and make more improvement to the university website Otherwise Rabindra Bharati University is worth it for students.

Anyone wishing to join the university has to first file an application from the official website of RBU and then a written multiple choice question exam is held offline. After which, a list will be shared by the university on their official website, according to which one can see the shortlisted candidates list. Usually, there are at least 5 merit lists which are shared by the university. Accordingly, one can get admitted on the allotted admission date available on the website. The physical admission process had its hassles which could have been more organized by the staff members.
