I applied to Delhi University, Benaras Hindu University, University of Calcutta, and Kalyani University. In the first place, I couldn't get the minimum cut-off marks in the DU entrance. For BHU, I did qualify for the exams but due to some miscommunication, I couldn't go ahead. In the case of the other two universities, I heard better reviews about my university in case of professors, education culture and all. The admission process in simple. If you have the minimum cut off you can apply and then keep an eye on the website regularly after the deadline for the application. Once they upload the lists of selected students, you can take admission. If your rank is a little low then you can wait and keep checking the updated lists as some students might not take admission whose names are mentioned in the list so, in that case, the students from the lower ranks can take the place on the list.

The colleges that I tried to take admisssion was St.Xaviers, Bethune and many more, but I got confirmed admission from St.Paul's college, hearing it was renowned college and also it was a cathedral mission college which was my favourite part as I belonged from a convent school. The admission fees was less and the course fees was also affordable comparing to other colleges. I got rejected from the other colleges as my 12th marks was not upto to mark, although I cleared it with 80 percent. No sooner I got admission in St.Pauls college as my marks was accepted there. The cut off was quite low and fortunately I made it there. There were no admission exams conducted but I made through it just by merit.

Students have to score atleast 50% to fill the admission form. Our admission procedure were through online. We had a cut off of 75% that year . The Rabindra bharati university official portal publish application form and they also have listed all the application fees and dates listed there . University do have a benifit in reservation for sc ,st ,obc students. They have a relaxation in marks in time to addmission . We used to had exam after 6months as semester system. Questions of exam were totally concept base . Selection lists used to take a long time to publish. I think releasing merit list a bit faster will help the students to take decision.
