My best lecture is doctor kuntal Mukhopadhyay he has a strong subject knowledge clear communicator kind and caring and he is confident and positive always patience and adaptability and he has a good friendly behaviour and he he is flexible to do anything and he is active and understanding passionate about teaching a good listener innovative teaching methods organised and effective and also he recognise individually and dedicated to a student growth.. she always motivate and inspire students. He is my favourite lecturer because he thought as right thing in life in the correct ways he has always appreciated our efforts in learning he is a very kind person but a strict want to he has taught us the basic principles for which I am grateful to him he has taught us to be punctual and discipline he has me to help me everyone.

Professors are really friendly and they teach well

The faculty members are really friendly with the students. They teach us really well and never hesitate to clear doubts multiple times. The marking is also good. They don't do discrimination while marking.

My life of RBU

The faculty of this department are very helpful.. Mostly Our HOD Dr.Baisakhi Mitra, for her I'm able to complete my degree. Her continuous support and encouragement we get success in our study. And other members of this faculty like professor Dr. Sudakshina Mukherjee, Dr. Arpita Ghosh mam they are very supportive and helpful among the students. The total number faculty of this department is 5. And our HOD mam also Curator of the RBM museum for that we get easily access the museum

A complete guide about RBU

Cooperative and good professor of Sociology Department

Lack of connection with different departments. Atleast with sociology department

My faculty was great. We used to have open space for discussion on topics, ideas and brainstorming sessions. Many good seminars were conducted by my department of faculty. However, the Arts Faculty as a whole was not too functional for sociology students. Faculty members were good in number but not good enough for the entire Arts department. The marking system is not that bad but the system of scheduling two written exams a day sometimes reduces the writing power in the second exam. In the case of the Professors of the sociology department, both permanent and guest lecturers were good at teaching, discussion, and coordinating. However, before I passed out, a few guest lecturers were recruited whose potential I am not aware of. Curriculum is apt for the future studies especially for PhD aspirants.

A beautiful college and its people

Professors' behavior and teaching methods and also their friendly behavior was worth remembering
The faculty's expertise, teaching methods and mentorship qualities was amazing and truthful
My engagement with campus life was amazing, I had good bonding with my batchmates and my faculty, I ,made good and supportive friends.

The faculty to student ration is 1:4. The faculty to student relationship was quite good and the faculty was approachable to the students as well. My favourite faculty was Sidharth sir as he was the best professor according to my opinion, he always had a good way of teaching and bonding with the students. There were 3 annual exams and the honors papers were quiet tough to clear, there were many students that couldn't clear the exams, but also the number of passing students was quiet good as well, The course curriculum was quiet relevant.

The students, faculty, staff everyone is good and sociable and friendly. I feel associated there. No issues like ragging and bullying
The faculty is very very high qualified and great in their field. Modern teaching methods the practice using high end seminar halls

Maybe some teachers and students are not so good

Student teacher ratio is fine. 5:10 we had in our department. Teachers are well qualified and mannerd Very friendly behaviour Traditional teaching methods they use They encourage us about teaching. The included some PhD student to reach us as well The are very interactive

The english department could be better in executing regular classes.

There has been some Excellent professors in our department who teach very well. But there should be more teachers and more approaches made for learning for the students. Classes should be held more regularly.

RBU BT Road campus

Teachers and faculty were so communicative.
Classes were taken properly and extra meterials,notes were provided in class
University organize many events to improve students skill and knowledge

Lack of requirement in faculty cause lack of stuffs for that small issues take long time to solve

We had only 7 or 8 permanent faculty members . And senior teachers doesn't take under graduation classes.. PhD scholars used to take our classes. Scholars joining others colleges used to creat a void place. Frequent change of teachers hampered classes a lot . But every faculty members were so supportive. We used to had regular one -and- one advice season with them . From guiding us to make the notes properly to advising us on your mental health issues they used to did it all.
