Yes, we do have opportunities for scholarship both on the basis of merit and financial considerations.
Faculty is of top quality and they provide the best knowledge
Iim jammu offers great campus placement opportunities and final placement start from the 5th semester talking about the placement report we have had 25% growth since last year.

Dislikes

Hostel is very worst and we pay too much for the things they provide
The campus life for me was very poor the new jagti campus is still being constructed the jhallo chak campus is awful and lacks basic infrastructure.
Initially, the internships offered had a good stipend, but the final candidates they selected were very low; hence, the batch's stipend was very low.

Professor are very good they are experienced

Mess food is not that good as per fees they charge

The placement cell and the committee has the responsibility for placements. And the 100% placements is there. This year the average package has gone around 16 lakhs. Min. was around 10 lakhs. Intership also got 100% placements. So placement records are good.

The campus is very beautiful,the peers who will get here are very interactive & helpful.You will get to enjoy your college life.
Infrastructure is also good being the new IIM ,the construction is commendable.The campus is wonderful.
Placement for fresher as well as workex is good.There are numerous companies coming for placements with good roles as well as packages.

Dislikes

The location is far from the city so this is a hinderance as sometimes we have to travel alot for shopping & romaning here & there.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario in IIM is at par.Placements for summer internship starts just after one month after joining.And for the final placement it usually starts since the beginning of 2nd year.There a n no. of companies which has visited IIMJ few of them are Microsoft, Deloitte, EY,De'shaw,V-guard, Mahindra, Havells,etc.The offer is made for roles like sales & marketing,product management,finance,supply chain,consulting & many more.The highest package varies every year last year it was 64 lpa & average is 15 lpa.There is 100% placement for students.Placement is still good although market is not in a good condition.

Peer group that's all and class atmosphere
Resources and the staff support that we receive

Dislikes

Hostel food, I mean sometimes I just don't wanna eat
Playground, we do not have adequate playing area outside
Infrastructure, we have broken bathroom and pay fines for that

Overall it's all good, we have world-class faculty in the world and they provide very useful information in all their classes, the peer group is also excellent and I have interacted with the most brilliant minds and they are really good at what they do

Likes

Diversity is the major thing which I am enjoying because it is not possible to travel all India at a single time but this college bring all India together.
Study environment is good and everyone is very competitive which blows a spark.
Every criteria of old IIMs is fulfilled by IIM Jammu.

Dislikes

Infrastruc ture is not not currently upto the mark but this year this problem will resolve.
Every standard of IIM Jammu is fo0llowing the similar path of old IIMs.
Some faculties need some training to control the class.

Placement Experience:

The college provides good placement and there is a placement committee that continuously connects with the company. Every year committee tries to bring a maximum number of companies. That's why every year the average package offered is increasing.

The campus has a range of resources available for the students like library etc.

Dislikes

Being in the Jammu city, so public vehicles are not operational after 9 pm.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester onward. There are over 150+ companies visiting the campus. The highest package for 2023 is around 64 lakhs with an average of 16.53lpa. 100 per cent of students are placed through campus placement.

Should I join IIM Jammu?

Likes

The peer group is amazing. People from various cultures
Many learning opportunities, competitions and quizzes
Committees and club members work very hard

Dislikes

We are setting the culture and not enough alumnus
There is no AC in rooms and jammu gets hot

100% of students are placed with the highest package around 65 lpa and an average of around 16.43 lpa. The top 10 percentile has received around 30 LPA. The placement committee works very hard and is supported by the students and administration.

A rising star - IIM Jammu

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIM Jammu are better than most of the new-generation IIMs in India. MBA batch 2021-23 may have placements near about 15 LPA. For the batch 2020-22, it was 13.5 LPA. All the eligible students get placement in companies all around the world. Institute provides students with internship opportunities for summers.
