IIM Jammu Gallery

We have our annual fest "EMPYREAN" . It is held in March of every year and for three days. But from 2023, it is likely to held in December. The first is kavi samelan followed by artists performing their concerts, Dj nights and many other shows and competitions such as ramp walk, dance competition etc. organized by students and management. Also we have our library named "NALANDA" which has lots of book available online as well as offline. We have committees that work on daily basis that forms a bridge between students and administration for sports, infrastructure, placement, IT, food etc.

The annual Management fest is Empyrean with more than 12000+ footfall in the campus every year. Its is a 3 day Annual Fest with various exciting events (including bollywood night, DJ or EDM night woth popular singer or bands)

The campus life of IIM Jammu is hectic, but i would call it great as i got to learn a lot from it. The infrastructure of the campus where we were first kept was not that great but we were later shifted to the permanent campus and it was great. The involvement of clubs and social aspects was immense as we had to do a lot of stuff for the clubs and we had guest lecture sessions from industry professionls on every weekends.

As far as extra curricular environment is considered, we have a lot of club and committees within the campus. IIM Jammu is the highly student driven college and hence there are a lot of opportunities for the same, that is for holistic growth and development of the student. We have around 10 committees and more than 20 clubs. For cultural activities, a lot of cultural programs for each and every festivals are organized.

Overall experience is very good. I had my best experience of my life. You know the give the charge to students for everything. There are committees for everything for mess, cultural programs, placements and others. There is sectional war tournament which held between sections. We also get opportunity to play with other colleges.

Campus life is joyous. IIM Jammu has an annual cultural fest called the EMPYREAN. It also has sports competitions regularly. The library has many books and online databases for the students to access. The campus is student-led, i.e., student clubs and committees run most of the work and are the mediators between administration and students. These see high participation and belonging to a club or committee as a matter of pride.

Yeah so i am in like 1 committee and 2 clubs and honestly it has homes my skills vividly from being an introvert to standing for elections and giving speech it has helped me a lot. The events that take place in college makes it all the more interesting for us to get out of our comfort level and get new opportunities.

There are multiple clubs and committee for students to join. There are multiple sports events organized on a fortnight basis. Additionally the campus is more lively during night time as most of us engage in playing basketball\ badminton\walk around the campus.

Going thru the campus life at IIM jammu. Its a fast moving cirriculam as the semester are only 3 month in which two exams are conducted along with the project submission of each subject. So student has to prepare for the subject in advance. Other than that there are lot of comittiees out there which help the students to help brush up there management skills. There is also an annual fest held in the college named "Empyriam". The college classroom is equiped with latest technological equipments to enhance the teaching experience. Other than the comittiee there are also a lot of clubs which also help the students brush up there skill along with the domain in which they are intrusted in.

Overall the infrastructure of IIM Jammu is still in development as it is a new campus. In IIM Jammu there is annual fest called the Empyrean whcih is held in March every year. This year the highlight of the fest was Ankit Tiwari. IIM Jammu library offers a wide range of books. Books are issued for 14 days. We can recommend a book to library if it is not availabe in the library. They then arrange for the students. Library is electronically managed which prevents the need for manual issuing. Classrooms are high tech in IIM Jammu. Three projectors as well as one LED screen is provided. There are various clubs and committees in IIM Jammu which are student run which allows for smooth funcationing of the college.
