Yes, we do have opportunities for scholarship both on the basis of merit and financial considerations.
Faculty is of top quality and they provide the best knowledge
Iim jammu offers great campus placement opportunities and final placement start from the 5th semester talking about the placement report we have had 25% growth since last year.

Dislikes

Hostel is very worst and we pay too much for the things they provide
The campus life for me was very poor the new jagti campus is still being constructed the jhallo chak campus is awful and lacks basic infrastructure.
Initially, the internships offered had a good stipend, but the final candidates they selected were very low; hence, the batch's stipend was very low.

IIM Jammu is a spring breaker!

Our institute location is such that every one calls it an institution of paradise.
Not just academics but even life lessons are taught here and with utmost gratification.
I think ours is the only institution where we are provided an optional hobby course too.

Dislikes

Placements are lower in all IIMs and that I feel should change.

Till we are doing BBA there are no placements but from 4th year we are posted directly for MBA and then the placement eligibility starts. Average is between 10-15 lakhs and many prominent industries which we have heard of have started coming to IIM Jammu. Also, placements record were nearly 96% at IIM Jammu.

The faculty's expertise in teaching, connecting with real-world and more practical knowledge in subjects or live projects or reports or internsships.
There are several clubs and committees that have their own functions and helps the students to upskill in terms of communication, team work, leadership, creativity, adaptibility etc.
Opportunities to interact with other colleges and industry experts through competitions or webinars etc.

Dislikes

The fee structure is too high especially for undergraduate programs.
Sometimes it become too hectic that we cannot find time for our personal other works.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible from the last year of their MBA. There are companies like Microsoft, KPMG who come to college for placements. as per 2023 update, the highest package for MBA was INR 64 LPA, the average was INR 16.50 LPA and the median package was INR 15.25 LPA

The beautiful city in which the college is situated
Campus Infrastructure is very beautiful you have clean and scenic infrastructure
The peers from different background keeps you updated about the things which you don't know.

Dislikes

Administration is not up to the marks and unemphatic towards students necessary needs.
Unnecessary Strict rules are imposed based on the mood of the college

The MBA and this whole course curriculim with different level ups in different trimester make you preapre and fit for the real world problesms and the case study approach really helps you and keeps you engaged in the lecture.

As far as IPM is considered, there is no such record of placement for this course as of now. Although we will be taking placements along with the existing MBA core batch, hence, our packages will be somewhat similar to them only.

The placement cell and the committee has the responsibility for placements. And the 100% placements is there. This year the average package has gone around 16 lakhs. Min. was around 10 lakhs. Intership also got 100% placements. So placement records are good.

The course curriculum is comprehensive and prepares for an all rounded manager.
Batchmates are competitive and it is exciting to engage with them in learning sphere.

Dislikes

Infrastructure and amenities are not the best.
Faculty shortage is a real concern when it comes to gaining valuable knowledge of IIM level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant and has practical implications. I enjoy studying the diverse courses that are offered. Lots of cases are discussed and a lot of discussions are conducted. Exam frequency is okay considering we have only mid-term and end-term exams.

The college environment is good but needs a bit more exposure
My engagement is quite extensive with people around me and I love to indulge in various activities of clubs and committees.
Rhe faculties teaching method is good except for some who need experience to be honest.

Dislikes

As I mentioned the exposure is minimum and that interaction remains limited.
The fee is at times to much to incur according to the amount we pay
The administration tends to ignore various problems that we face and it feels like they don't care.

So the course is okay not good not bad due to various reasons like, First the subjects seems to be at times make no sense why we studying them here Second yes there are case studies used that makes us easier to understand the situation and deal with the situation at ground level Third projects and presentations give us a new prospect to open and learn.

Campus life, as the college is made up of student from different background and culture.
Classroom, as its equipped with cutting edge technological equipment's
Infrastructure, As it has the spread over a large area along with dedicated building for each department

Dislikes

Mess Food, as the quality of the food is not upto the mark and sometimes insects are also found in the meal.
Placement process, The placement process is not upto the mark.
faculty, they are rude to the students with lot of the incident happened in the college

since the starting of the Second year at IIM Jammu. The students are eligible for the campus placement. But the companies has different criteria for the eligibility, sometime it may be cutoff based on the campus current CGPA or the major subject selected in the 2nd year by the students. The current avergae package is 1250000 with highest being the 2250000. IIM jammu has the 100% placement records.
