IIM Jammu Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

IIM Jammu offers very good placement opportunities for all the students. Currently IIM Jammu has an average package of 1550000 which is very good. Average stipend for SIP is 55000 for 2 months. There are numerous companies which comes to IIM Jammu ranging from ICICI, DE Shaw, ABC group, V Guard, Deloitte, EY etc. The highest package was 6400000 last year which was given by Microsoft. 100% placement is there in IIM Jammu for SIP as well as final placements. My plan is to get a job in finance role even though more marketing roles are offered in IIM Jammu

The placement scenario in IIM is at par.Placements for summer internship starts just after one month after joining.And for the final placement it usually starts since the beginning of 2nd year.There a n no. of companies which has visited IIMJ few of them are Microsoft, Deloitte, EY,De'shaw,V-guard, Mahindra, Havells,etc.The offer is made for roles like sales & marketing,product management,finance,supply chain,consulting & many more.The highest package varies every year last year it was 64 lpa & average is 15 lpa.There is 100% placement for students.Placement is still good although market is not in a good condition.

Overall it's all good, we have world-class faculty in the world and they provide very useful information in all their classes, the peer group is also excellent and I have interacted with the most brilliant minds and they are really good at what they do

Master in business administration is one of the greatest courses in India. Faculty-student ratio 1:10. Every faculty member in the Indian Institute of Management should have a degree of Ph.D. after MBA. The term exam was timely every term and the difficulty level varied throughout the first year.

The Course curriculum is the same as followed in the old IIMs. The pedagogy is case-based which helps the students in grasping the concepts. Student Faculty ratio is around 20:1 All faculties are PhD holders

The earlier batch had 240 students, and everyone got placed till December last year. Around 150 companies visited last year, and the number of pre placements offers are increasing with every upcoming batch.

placements of the college are decent. not as good as older iims. the average package is around 14 lpa. companies which visited are icici bank, hdfc bank, microsoft, amazon, almost 98% of the batch gets placed.

Campus Placements start from the 4th semester onwards. There were a total of 239 students to be placed. One hundred twenty-six companies came to the campus with 246 offers. The highest CTC stood at 64 LPA, while the average and median stood at 16.43 LPA and 15.35 LPA, respectively. The average package increased by over 19% this year. The average for freshers was 15.5 LPA, whereas for experienced candidates, it was 20 LPA.

We have Campus Placement in our Institute. The average Package for final Placement is 1643000 and for Summer Internship 45000. There is 100% placement in our Institute. Companies like ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Adani, Adani Wilmar, NINE, College Duniya, Jio Cloud Gaming, V-Guard, Schneider, etc came for SIP in our Institute.

While there are a few subjects that might be difficult for some students while easier for others, the courses are designed and structured in such a fashion that the diversity of students is taken into account making it understandable for every student with little effort. Mostly the faculties are in experienced. Faculty to student ratio is around 1:6. term exams were always on time but not the result. It is very easy to pass the exams but scoring marks is difficult due to high competition.
