Yes, we do have opportunities for scholarship both on the basis of merit and financial considerations.
Faculty is of top quality and they provide the best knowledge
Iim jammu offers great campus placement opportunities and final placement start from the 5th semester talking about the placement report we have had 25% growth since last year.

Dislikes

Hostel is very worst and we pay too much for the things they provide
The campus life for me was very poor the new jagti campus is still being constructed the jhallo chak campus is awful and lacks basic infrastructure.
Initially, the internships offered had a good stipend, but the final candidates they selected were very low; hence, the batch's stipend was very low.

IIM in Paradise

The college gave me a completely new experience of a college and campus life.

Dislikes

As we live in the transit campus, there is a problem of infrastructure
Mess facilities are also not upto the mark

The placements at our college are quite good and they are provided to all the students. The students become eligible for campus placements from the 4th semester. The average package for the batch of 2021-2023 was 16.43 lpa.

Most number of fresher than any other IIM.
Academic diversity is great, consisting of students from various undergrad courses.
Placements are good despite fo having more freshers.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not upto the mark.
Mess facilities are not upto the standards.
Gender diversity is poor. Female candidates are very less.

The average Package is 1650000 (approx), Median Package is 1550000 (approx), Highest Package is 6400000 (approx), The above packages are per year CTCs. The above figures are of academic year 2022-24 (sixth batch).

From the 4th term, placement starts. Placement is good in IIM Jammu. The average is 15 Lakhs for freshers and 20 lakhs for work ex-people. 100 per cent placement in both sip and final placements. My plan is to get a good placement in a reputable company.

Talent pool that it has, as people from different background, age, with work experience and also freshers are there
You get to study mainly with real world examples. Not too focused on book theories.
Courses are good here. You will be able to learn different aspects related to businesses.

Dislikes

The hostel condition here and infrastructures are not that good.
Sometime mess food is not that good and lacks taste and quality.

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIM Jammu is one of the best. Over 130 companies participated in the placement drive for the year 2022-23. This year's highest package stood at 64LPA, and the average package at 16.43LPA. The institute gives 100% placement.

At IIM Jammu we have students with diverse backgrounds here which makes it more interesting.
IIM Jammu offers various learning opportunities to learn skills to every student here irrespective of their previous experiences.
The peer learning and industry exposure provided here is unique.

Dislikes

Consistent problems with mess and infrastructure
Transit campus. The permanent campus is far away from being functional.

Placement Experience:

The placement process starts in July month itself. The first company that visited the campus for final placements was ICIC, followed by Deloitte, Genpact, KPMG, Vedanta, Digit, Microsoft, McKinsey and many more. The average package offered was around 16.4 lakhs annually and the highest package offered was at 67 lakhs.

Food is next level worst. Its better to eat outside compared to inside. I spent 25k on lapinos pizza for one year
No body knows IIM Jammu. Even people in the next Street don't know what an IIM is. It's the only major drawback

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at the campus are not audited and you can do some extraordinary feats, but the placements are pretty decent. If you are in the top 25% of campus, you should get a pretty decent package. Communication skills are very important.
