Likes

Yes, we do have opportunities for scholarship both on the basis of merit and financial considerations.
Faculty is of top quality and they provide the best knowledge
Iim jammu offers great campus placement opportunities and final placement start from the 5th semester talking about the placement report we have had 25% growth since last year.

Dislikes

Hostel is very worst and we pay too much for the things they provide
The campus life for me was very poor the new jagti campus is still being constructed the jhallo chak campus is awful and lacks basic infrastructure.
Initially, the internships offered had a good stipend, but the final candidates they selected were very low; hence, the batch's stipend was very low.

The fastest Growing IIM for a reason

Likes

The course Curriculum is great and the course design provides diversity.
The Books available in the library is helpful
The faculties are quite helpful and always available to solve any personal problem as well.

Dislikes

The Infrastructure is very poor giving difficult times to students
The facilities available is not sufficient
The program design is hectic and time is not managed properly

Placement Experience:

Campus placement session starts from the 5th trimester and includes tech giants like Deloitte, Accenture Strategy, and Infosys. The BFSI sector includes ICICI and HDFC. Other major recruiters are Barclay, JP Morgan, Mckinsey, etc.

I like the peer learning, many competitons
Faculty which are PHD graduate

Infrastructure which is very small and old

Placements are good in IIM Jammu. There has been a hike of 15-20% every year on average. Many new companies have also been visited this year. College placement start after 1st year in August of every year.

The peer group and chill scenes we have on campus

There is definately not much to dislike at IIMJ

IIM Jammu placements are one of the best among the baby IIMs and we have ample opportunities to choose from. In terms of placement and pre-placement offer opportunities, IIM Jammu is only growing and will be so further ahead too.

Likes

Academic diversity of student is very broad
Faculty is very knowledgeable. The insights which they are giving is directed towards industry standards
The clubs and committees run by the students

Dislikes

Hostel is not completely ready. It is congested.
The quality of mess food is not up to the satisfactory level
Staying in transit campus itself is demotivating

Placement Experience:

For summer placements, we will be starting in September. All the students will be placed before March. 100 % placement is guaranteed by the college. The highest during the 21-23 batch was 64 lpa. The average package is 15 lpa.

initially the infrastructure was not that good but then you have to adopt
many people wont like the Jammu city bcoz of many reasons
you wont get luxury facility as other iim coz its a new college

IIM Jammu being the newest IIM has grown rapidly in terms of recognition and placements as they provide 100% placement with an average package of 16.5 lakhs for the batch of 2023. They also prepare you for the final placement process.

Diversity is the major thing which I am enjoying because it is not possible to travel all India at a single time but this college bring all India together.
Study environment is good and everyone is very competitive which blows a spark.
Every criteria of old IIMs is fulfilled by IIM Jammu.

Dislikes

Infrastruc ture is not not currently upto the mark but this year this problem will resolve.
Every standard of IIM Jammu is fo0llowing the similar path of old IIMs.
Some faculties need some training to control the class.

Placement Experience:

The college provides good placement and there is a placement committee that continuously connects with the company. Every year committee tries to bring a maximum number of companies. That's why every year the average package offered is increasing.

IIM Jammu-An Excursion worth Remembering

Likes

Committees were quite good at ensuring the smooth functioning of the institute's day-to-day activities.
Campus Life was also quite happening and eventful.
Faculties are very supportive and friendly.

Dislikes

Hostels are very congested presently. 4-5 students are accommodated in a single room
Mess food needs to be improved. The student feedback system is evolving.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are quite good. The students are given exposure to companies from different domains. Students who perform well in the process are given attractive offers and PPOs by the companies as well.

The location of the campus is really something extraordinary & our new campus is gonna be adjusting to IIT jammu
The course curriculum is really quite rigorous & is well structured & one can gain ample amount of knowledge from it.
The faculties are really extraordinary with a good relevant experience & can provide you with theoretical & practical Knowledge

Dislikes

There is nothing much which I dislike but the weather of Jammu is really something you cant trust on

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 4th term & placements are excellent. Companies with various domain visit campus & offer multiple roles. If one prepares sincerely, then he may get into his dream company. This year Average package was more than 16 lakh per annum.
