IIM Jammu Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

There are various top firms visiting campus like TATA, Deloitte, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Tech Mahindra, HCL, Collegedunia, Paytm, L&T, Kotak Mahindra, DelMonte, and many more. The highest package for summers was 2 lakhs and for finals around 70 lakhs.

The institute provides 100% placements both in finals and in summers. The average package for final placement is 10 LPA and the highest package is 24.5 lakhs. The highest package also depends on the domain. Some very good brands such as Deloitte, Vedanta, Wipro, Citi Group, Tata Power etc visit the campus for final placements. For finals, roles such as general finance, risk management, equity management, Sales manager, etc are offered. Summer placements are decent enough. You get a chance to do your internship in different domains. Companies such as ICICI, Kotak Mahindra, Amul, Parle, etc come for summer placements. For summers, roles such as risk analysis, market research, investment banking, equity research etc are offered.

IIM Jammu has a placement record of 100%. The college organizes Pre-Placement Talks for students to prepare for the Placement session. The average CTC offered was around 8-10 LPA. There were placement co-ordinators who were a part of the placement team. They organized seminars with corporate leaders to inspire us.

A total of 84 companies have participated in the final placement process for a batch of 58 students. The highest salary package offered is INR 24.5 LPA and the average salary package offered is INR 10.6 LPA. The top recruiters are Deloitte, Motilal Oswal, Tata Power, Tech Mahindra, Citi Bank among others.

The pandemic brings a very tough time for the Institute. The senior batch size is 97 out of which almost 30-40 students are placed till now. For summers 100-110 students are placed till now. Place comm is working on this and I hope their hard work pays off.

One of the best institutes in India with the best curriculum of the country. The thing I liked the most about this college if the teaching methodology. It revolves around imparting practical knowledge and finding real world problem- solutions.

The college will give me enough opportunities to grow professionally.
