Yeah they are well qualified one proffessor i know he has done both btech and mtech like this many are well qualified another math teacher has very much social knowledge also like he is a member of one national commiteee
The college provides a wide range of scholarships for merit students excelling in academics.
I am an 8th sem student and i am proud to say that i have already been placed in a prestigious company with a great package.

Dislikes

Very bad at this, there is no scope for any kind of fests in our college.
I'll pay 250000 per year and we don't get any kind of scholarship because your cgpa has to be above 8.1 so no scholarship from government also they would discriminate us and they won't allow us to get it.
Hostel rules are too strict, curfew of 7 is very early and the girls hostel is outside the campus which is a bit inconvenient

we have 50+ clubs which is active every week that helps us to improve coding
we have big campus to chill and best connections of alumini

More Syllabus and hard in exams to complete syllabus
time management is harder more project based learning

Placement Experience:

from 5th sem your are eligible for sitting placements in pesu we get 500+ companies and 2000+ offers in that major amazon,flipkart,apple, jp morgen more. the highest salary that i seen is 69 lpa package . meesho offered 58LPA and apple offered 52lpa Packages . 90% students getting placed here my plan to do mtech in pesu

Why you should join PESU - pros and cons.

Likes

The teaching faculty is good. They do spend time explaining things.
The crowd is brilliant here. Be it seniors or your batchmates, everyone is helpful here.
The courses are updated in every aspect. They are up to the point and no unnecessary learnings.

Dislikes

The recreational activities are very limited. 2 fests are held at both campuses, but the quality is not upto the mark.
Too much competition. Can be said for any engineering college.
The semester exams are on the more difficult side compared to other colleges '. This does put a dent on gpa.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are exceptional. You can enter placements from the 6th semester onwards, though you have to have an amazing resume do the talking for you. Around 200+ companies visit every year and offer the students. The highest package that went this year (even after recession) was (what I've heard) is above 60 LPA offered by Apple Inc. The average package even during recession is 12 LPA. Around 85 precent students eligible got placed. After the degree I am planning to get placed in a good company.

PES UNIVERSITY EC CAMPUS

Likes

college infrastructure is really nice and nice environment
college is active in sports , hackathons and games
there is always some event going on for special occasions like dandia nights and other fests

Dislikes

a bit overcrowding in the electroniccity campus
very slow internet in electronic city not a friendly place to ppl who come from other states environment wise
staff is mid and management can always be better , very strict , teachers like to maintain contact with parents so less freedom

Placement Experience:

placements of pesu campus is really good thus securing us the spot of top 3 colleges in karnatake, apple and ibm also hire from pesu which is very hard to find in india colleges. highest cse package in 2025 is around 54 lakhs and average is around 12 lakhs. percentage of students getting place is comparetively low with around 60%,my plans after getting degree are to hopefully to be placed in campus placements

I appreciate the depth of knowledge demonstrated by many professors.
the campus infrastructure was really good,praticularly the classrooms adn lubrary
i enjoyed campus life and the numerous extracurricular activities

Dislikes

plaement process felt somewhat limited,with focus of few major ompanies
while the curriculum was academicallu sound,it sometimes lacked flexibility
certain administritavie processes,such as registartion and documanet verification was bit inefficient

placements are soo good in my college, evryone will get a dectn package there is lkess probability of student going out asun employed placemts start from 7 th sem.so woth in 7th and 8th sems everyoine will easily get placed

the campus is really good ad good place for study
the faculty are good they teach very well
the ground is quite big and beautiful atmosphere to play

we reach college lately due to heavy traffic
they change section every sem which they have to avoid
we dont have any uniform they have to give uniform

I like the infrastructue of pes university which is actually very nice.
The scolorships given by PESU will definetely help students like me and placements are simply awesome
The clubs and senior interaction is great here

Dislikes

The fee for other quota except kcet is huge
The exams and management is quite strict .

The placements are the main reason why many join pes, They are extremly good with cse avg package 18 lacks and and overall avg package of 14 lacks and highest package of 55-60 lakcs. Mnay students elect for higher studies inspite of having higher education. If we fail to achive placements, alumni networks helps to acquire jobs. Around 75-80 percnt odf students get placed every year with 500 out of 2000 studenst get above 12 lacks

Why join PES?

Likes

The infrastructure, greenery and cmapus life here in pes ec campus is what i like, also the teaching faculty over here is quite good
The placement rate here in pesu, is too good, this clg is known for its brand in placements,making it a good place for average package about 20L per annum.
The cleanliness, the campus life is great here, he curriculum allso chaamges every year making it suitable for the evolving tech around.

Dislikes

The thing i disliked the most here is the sewage system maintenance, usually when it rains, the water is stagnant over there for a couple of hours which makes it uncomfortable.
Usually the most annoying things in pes is the time limit we get during our mids, whe8ch makes it really stress full for us .

Placement Experience:

I have still not gotten to that stage but, what ever i heard about placement here is pes was great, this years gighest offered package qas somewhere around 1.1cr abd avg package about 20L, i am sure i will allso be backing a great placement after the completion of my course.

I liked the collge completely based on the placement.
The seconf thing is about the collge infrastructure.
And the next thing is about the collge faculty.

Dislikes

One of the worst thing is about the collge canteen.
The second worst thing is about infrastructure management
The third worse is about the hostel food.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course structure is really good because they make us study only the industry related subjects more than the other college's which manily focus in the collge. All the course subject examination are computer based exams.

Placements are good compared to other colleges
Faculty is good . Helps every one. Every thing is properly maintained

The fee here for PESSAT students is very high .
Events done here are very less compared to other private colleges

From the 3rd year students who are studying in 6th semister are eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visiting this college evaru year Apple,Google ,microsoft and many other like IBM and some MNC's and also few service based companies will visit this college. More than 60 percent of students were placed in the previous year. The cgpa who maintains above 8.8 will be called for the interviews ok top companies and the least cgpa maintained to attend placements is 6.75 . My plan after this program is to do a job

PES University is a good private university offering four-year B.Tech Computer Science Engineering (CSE) courses. It is one of the most popular courses at the university and is worth the hype.

Students can go through the following reasons to know more about the CSE course at PES University:

Approvals & Accreditations: The university is recognized by UGC and the Government of Karnataka. It is also accredited by NAAC and holds the approval of AICTE, making it a trustable institution.
Fees: The B.Tech CSE fee at PES University is INR 4,80,000 per annum and a candidate also has to pay INR 10,000 as a one-time non-refundable admission fee. The university courses are more expensive in comparison to other universities, so if you cannot afford high fees don't apply for this university.
Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for CSE is very simple at PES University Bangalore. Candidates must have passed Class XII with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to be eligible for admission.
Selection: The selection of candidates is based on merit in the entrance examination. The university conducts PESSAT to offer admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses including B.Tech CSE. The university also accepts KCET and JEE Mains scores.
Minor Specialization: The students can also choose B.Tech CSE in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as a minor specialization giving more aligned specialization to applicants.
Seat Intake: There are a total of 720 seats available in the CSE course among which 288 are KCET quota seats, 288 seats are available for PESSAT candidates and 36 seats are reserved for JEE Mains students. The university has also reserved 108 seats for management/ NRI/ foreign/ sponsored category students. 43 seats are there for Lateral entry students and the remaining 29 seats are for CET quota students applying for lateral entry in CSE.
Ranking: The university has been ranked 100-150 for Engineering (B.Tech) by NIRF 2023.
