About PESCE
PESCE Mandya was established in the year 1962. The college is affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and is recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). PESCE has secured 151st rank in the engineering category by NIRF 2023.
At present, the college offers UG, PG, and Doctoral programs under various specializations. B.E is the flagship program of PESCE Mandya and admissions to the same are done on the basis of Karnataka CET scores followed by counseling.

PESCE Mandya Admissions 2024
The students seeking admission to the college must register themselves for the accepted entrance exam as per the course. Listed below is the admission process for each course:
- Admission for the B.Tech program is based on the merit scored in KCET followed by COMED-K counseling. After the declaration of results of the entrance exam, the students can log in to the official website of COMED-K in order to apply for the counseling process.
- For M.Tech, a student must have a valid GATE or KPGCET score which will be followed by KEA counseling.
- For MBA and MCA admission, the selection is done on the basis of the Karnataka PGCET score.
- For M.Sc. admission, the selection is done on the basis of merit scored by the candidates in the last qualifying examination.
- For admission to the Ph.D., the candidate will have to go through 3 stages i.e. Screening, Entrance Test, and Personal Interview.

Being an engineering college, PES College of Engineering has a good infrastructure to meet every student’s needs. Following are some of the facilities provided by the college:
- Library: It has a rich collection of books on various topics, dissertations, reference books, magazines, CDs/DVDs, journals, etc. It also subscribes to digital educational portals like NPTEL. Students can access them with proper login details provided by the librarian. The library is housed in the administrative block and occupies a total area of 13,099.38 sq ft. Three sections in the library are lending, reference, and book bank sections.
- Hostel: The Institute provides a well-furnished hostel facility to candidates coming to outstation areas. The hostel has 89 single occupancy, 21 double occupancy, and 73 triple occupancy rooms with a total capacity of 350. Facilities at hostels include Free medical, a Library, a TV room, Wi-Fi internet connectivity, solar water heaters, Closed-circuit television (CCTV), a Playground, a Vehicle parking facility, and a separate mess. The total hostel fees including room fee & mess fee INR 65,000 (3-bed room), INR 67,000 (2-bed room) & INR 69,000 (1-bed room)

I chose this college because the fees seemed relatively reasonable, i had heard good things about the professors, i also was recommended this university by a relative who teaches here. When I first visited I liked the infrastructure, at the time I used to stay at a pg and this uni was incredibly close to it. Metro station is also pretty close.

i got good reviews from peer group. and one of my cousin was studying here so she helped me in finalising my decision. i just focused on good placements and syllabus over her it's different from other colleges.

The reason for opting for PES University was because of the excellent record the university holds in placing students to top tier companies. The college has been in top 5 colleges in Karnataka for over a decade and doesnt fail to produce results every year, even now when the job market is towards the downside the university has made provisions to have its students get placed in good job roles with their influence in the tech market.

I applied to SJCC and MCC. Usually, the admission process is a little biased there and preference is given to Christians I chose PES as it is near to my house and the placements are pretty good.

- College is more focused on academics. College have all the facilities but focus is only academics.
- College is so biased for some courses. For some courses they doesn't bother much.

I have applied to this college only. As this college have more advanced curriculum than others. They have industry based course structure. They preparing students for industry only. For these reasons only I choose this college. For admission you have to register for course then you have to sign in interview process. After qualifying in interview you will get admission call. On particular date you have to go and confirm you admission.

I chose this college due to its amazing infrasturcuture and placement percentage.The other colleges like BMS AND MSRIT though renowned do not have that great of infrastructure and the preferred branch was also not gotten in MSRIT.

- First thing which I don't like about the college is sports , fests and other extra curricular activities which are not at all considered as important

Basically we can get a admission in 3 ways , first way is through KCET/COMEDK and other way is through college entrance exam (PESSAT) and 3rd way is through management quota.for kcet students it completely depends on the category they belong accordingly cuttoff varies, for SC/ST students cuttoff is so high compared to obc and general category students, this is where the term' Reservation' is completely dominating which is really affecting the future of many general category and obc category students, even though they get good score and good rank and work hard they don't get landed up in their deserving college, which also affecting the INDIAN future where this reservation should be removed completely...and coming back to the admission process students find their application in official website itself there is not much to worry about it..
