PES College of Engineering, Mandya an affordable semi govt. College for engineering.

Likes

The college has a very big 67 acres Land and faculties are supportive.
Very good sports facilities, inter department and other events do take place.

Dislikes

Language learning is required but teaching of language was not available during my stay.
Core branches have less placement opportunities as compared to IT.

Internships Opportunities:

The college provides various internship which are aligned with the companies and the students may be converted as employees in the same companies. During the final year of their course replacement and internship of some of my bachelors where one and ISRO and two of them did in hand project one of them did the project in L&T.

I like the environment of our college which is cleanly maintained by the head,
And the organisations which are present in my college like ieee,gdg,istc, etc and our inter college organization's are awesome.

Dislikes

The durability of classes which is morning 9:30 to 4:30

Placement Experience:

Place is over all good 150 something rank all karnataka min salary placed is 3.5 lakh average is 10 lakh and the highest packege is 60 lakh per annum is placed but in here the management are trainning us to in the first yr.

Things I liked about my college is the campus and the greenary u find all along
The fresh air because the trees we get .
The park we have to sit and remain fresh all the time

Dislikes

There's nothing that I have disliked my college

Internships Opportunities:

It's HITACHI ENERGY INDIA LIMITED. Where we pursued our internship.where we were assigned for testing panels of different types.It was of three months but there was no stippened. We done the project in hackathon...but we have to do more projects in upcoming days.

Structure and faculties are better but still it needs good improvement
I have done some things during my college days it is so good
Quality of the is good they give there best

Dislikes

Things have to be more effective by conducting different skills development program etc
It as to improve more by providing more skills activities
They just teach but they have to give more importantance towards skills

Placement Experience:

In our college placement training will be started from first semester only ..by 5th or 6th semester we can attend the campus selection So many companies are visited namely Infosys, wipro, accenture etc 12lahk will be highest i think also i dont know exactly and average will be 3.5lakh per year 70% of the students get placed by full filling the interviewers needs Im preparing for the civil services

As a pes student I am greatful for our college

Likes

Good campus and placement they will train us from starting only to prepare for placement
There is a big playground to play and the campus is 60 acres
Good faculty In the electronics and communication engineering department until you miss behave with them

Dislikes

If you have backlog then you need to pay 2800 per subject for supply exam
Attendance rules and it must be 85% otherwise they will fine us
College timings like school so boring and there is no Saturday holiday

Internships Opportunities:

I have not been done any internship so that I don't have any idea on this but according college and my friends said there is a internship available in our college with the good companies so internship opportunities available in college

college campus is pretty big . it's around 62 acers and contains a football ground , cricket ground , tennis court ,an auditorium and a canteen
college has boys hostel inside the campus and girls hostel outside the campus
has own department for every branch and has a greenish plesent park

Dislikes

canteen food is pretty average and too crowded
there is nothing much to discuss about dislikes
there is nothing much to talk about dislikes either than that

Internships Opportunities:

there are some internship offers from tcs , and other tech companies and 300+ companies visited . you can check it in college website there they've shown placement percentage, number or offers , students placed and much more.

The campus is clean and has a very good environment with good number of trees and greenary in it .
The college events such as ethnic day etc ... are exiting .
The college was established almost 60 yrs ego and has experienced faculty .

Dislikes

A Strict attendence of 85% is mandatory in the college .
dont know about boys isto girls ratio .
there is nothing much to dislike in the college

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college has seen a dip as 2024 is going through a recession period in the IT field . to get eligeble for placements you should have a minimum cumulative grade point acerage of 8 .

Likes

The way they completed sylabus and handled the situation in pandamic time. They provided separate mentorship for each and every individual students. We had huge placement oppurtinites and training for placement.

Dislikes

Sometimes there will be no proper responce regarding any quries.

Internships Opportunities:

We had done a project on "FERROCEMENT" strength and done a internship in MAGNUM company. We had practicle experiences like field visit, field survey data collecting and other engeneering works related aspects.

College gets additional benifits for being Autonomous
College bus facility is good it pick you from bus and drop you off at bus stand
College has good lab ,Library and ground

Dislikes

The supplimentary exams fee are high 2700
The revaluation fee is high for single subject it cost 5000
If you get into fight with teacher you have face touch time in the college

Internships Opportunities:

The intership opportunity are good Every student get a intership opportunity in the final year But no of those give stipend You don't have to pay any fee to them for the internship You to submit a mini project in end of 3rd years The major project is to submitted in end of final year
