IIT Jodhpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

There were total 11 students in my batch of M.tech AR-VR. From 3rd semter everyone becomes eleigible for the placements. Almost each of the companies related to IT/CS/AI were allowed us to sit for the placements. Almost each of the students who were looking for placements got the opportunity either through campus or non-campus drive. One student got the PhD opportunity. Rest 10 students got some opportunity in different companies on roles like Softawre Development Engineer, Data Scientist, AI Research Engineer, GenAI Engineer, Research Associate etc.

In our many companies are came to hire, it's almost 250 including Google, Microsoft, Barclay ICICI bank and many more. In data science, the 62 lacs package in Japan is the highest package this year average package is almost 12 lac.

Although the batch size in the discipline of Bioscience is smaller, each participant is placed in one or more companies. 83 percent of the pupils were placed in excellent companies. Rs. 45 LPA was the biggest CTC. ISRO, Bharat Petroleum, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Capgemini, Havells, HCL, 1MG, MAQ Software, Crisil, Honda, Zycus, DRDO, Bank of Baroda, and Coal India Ltd were among the 50 firms that visited the campus.

In the field of Bioscience, the batch strength is less but each student gets placed in one or more than one company. 83% of the students got placed in some great firms. The highest CTC was Rs. 45 LPA. 50 companies visited the campus and some of them were: ISRO, Bharat Petroleum, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Capgemini, Havells,HCL, 1MG, MAQ Software, Crisil, Honda, Zycus, DRDO, Bank of Baroda, Coal India Ltd.

The placement of the college as per the standard of IIT and the college does not upset us in terms of placement. The packages offered during the placement time are very attractive. The placement committee plays a very important role during the college placement drive as the whole placement drive is organized by the placement committee and they can invite a good number of companies. The highest package was around 65 LPA and the average package was 15 LPA.

The college has a good placement record. I also joined the college because of its placement record. The has a 100% placement record. The college committee of the college is very supportive they totally guides us during every placement round. The highest package for our batch was around 25 LPA and the average package was around 12 LPA. Companies like 1MG, MAQ Software, Crisil, Honda, Zycus, DRDO, Bank of Baroda, Coal India Ltd, Microsoft, Google, etc visited the campus during the college placement drive.

From the fifth semester, companies from all over the India start visiting to our college and taking the students to their company a large number of students start getting placed on the fifth semester itself and my best there was approximately 97% placement which was the highest of the decade full stop almost all the students of a bad got placed in the top MNCs and top other companies. The highest package offered in my bache was rupees 28 lakh per annum and the lowest package offered would rupees 4 lakh per annum. The top few companies who visited to our college is Wipro TCS Airtel jio Reliance Birla and many other.

This is one of the prestigious institute. The faculty here are well experienced and also have many publications. The curriculum of M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence is totally concentrated on emerging technologies like machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing etc. I referred to the college website for all the details like fees, curriculum, placements, research, faculty.

I'm one of the very few people in my class who actually had MTech as my first choice. I want to do MTech because of my interest for the subject that I studied in BTech. I want to specialise, also my aim to get a better core job with a better salary.

College don't have it's own campus till now, running on rented places hence huge distance between college n hostel
