Remarks

I'm one of the very few people in my class who actually had MTech as my first choice. I want to do MTech because of my interest for the subject that I studied in BTech. I want to specialise, also my aim to get a better core job with a better salary.

Course Curriculum Overview

The diverse research interests of these faculties provides the students with a whole lot of options for exploring almost all the fields of electrical Engineering, and pursue higher education in internationally deemed institutions.the current faculty in IIT Jodhpur electrical department is highly qualified and widely acclaimed in their respective fields. Currently, we have 6 permanent faculty members and 2 visiting faculty members for the department, all of them with appreciated research work published in known conferences.

Course Fees: INR 56000 per year

The average salary across the branches has also increased. 16 Students got PPOs from prestigious companies. In the academic Year 2018???2019, IITJ has recorded 84% placement which is highest until now.

College Events

we have intra college fest- Spandan (You'll love it if you come here), unplugged night, Nimble (Intra college technical fest) and a lot more activities keep happening here. Both are conducted at a level much better than any other new IIT. Apart from that, Since IIT-J is a small iit, everyone from B.Tech to M.Tech to Msc to PHD gets a chance to actively participate in the club's and fests hereIIT-J conducts two main fests namely Varchas (Sports festival) and Ignus (Techo-cult-Socio festival).

Placement Experience:

Campus placement for M.Tech students usually begins in the 3rd semester, allowing students to build their technical knowledge and complete relevant projects. The TPC is active and brings in a mix of core and IT giants and research-driven organizations. QUALCOMM, TEXAS INSTRUMENTS, MICROCHIP, Marvel, Intel, SAMSUNG, and AMAZON regularly visit the campus. The highest package will be 30 LPA, mid and avg are approximately the same, about 24 LPA, approximately 80% students get placed through campus drives, while others pursue Ph.D and research projects. Personally, after completing my degree, I aim to expand my embedded system knowledge to work in the semiconductor industry, while also keeping the option of pursuing doctoral research abroad if the right opportunity arises

An honest review about Fees, Curriculum, Placements and More

Placement Experience:

There were total 11 students in my batch of M.tech AR-VR. From 3rd semter everyone becomes eleigible for the placements. Almost each of the companies related to IT/CS/AI were allowed us to sit for the placements. Almost each of the students who were looking for placements got the opportunity either through campus or non-campus drive. One student got the PhD opportunity. Rest 10 students got some opportunity in different companies on roles like Softawre Development Engineer, Data Scientist, AI Research Engineer, GenAI Engineer, Research Associate etc.

In final year of the course, students become eligible for campus placement. Different different streams have there different placement data that is available on college website. The placement percentage is around 80% -90%. Around 10 minimum companies visited in one branch ( EE, ME, CE, CS..). The highest package is in computer science department around 65lpa.

My college life

I choose this college since this is most reputated college in india and IIT is dream of many students in india. I tried to many iits which are better than this but my jee advanced rank made me to come here this is the best affordable college for my rank in the jee advanced 2025 exam. The admission fees after getting admission is 3800 rupees. The cutoff of 2025 for my year is approximately 9000-9400 in all india. Iam proud to being an IITian.
