Post Graduation From RTU, Kota

Our course curriculum is reviewed time to time by our Alumini and Board and updated if necessary. Overall it is very good we have a number of labs for practical knowledge and industrial exposure. Midterm 1 are after one and a half month of beginning of semester, half of syllabus is considered and Midterm 2 are near end of semester exam, full syllabus is considered. Midterms are easy to clear but you have to be more attentive to endterm exams.

Internship opportunities are not so much offered from the college side but you can apply for same by your side. Some companies offer internship opportunites and also offer stipend and permanent job is given to good performers.

- Placement drive is organised every year in between August to December every year. - Students of Second last semester are eligible for Campus Placements (7th sem for B Tech and 3rd sem for M Tech) - Various companies visited this year and many students got placed . - 80% of students got placed. - I will be going in research field after complition of degree.

The fees for 1st semester is around INR 46025 and after that for remaining 3 semsters is INR 38525 per semester. 33500 per semester is Tuition fees, 5025 development fees and 7500 is caution money payable at once.Enrollment fees is paid separately once and Exam fees has to paid every semester which is INR 2500 per semester. Hostel fees in INR 12000 per year and mess fees is 4000-5000 per month according to number of meals you took.

- Almost all the festivals are celebrated here. Like Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri etc. Technical fests are also organised every year. There is 2 floor library with almost every book of your interest and a information retrieval lab which has internet connectivity there. There is GYM, 2 Tennis Courts and Badminton court and Ground for almost every sport. Many clubs like Literature club , Eco Club, Ncc , Nss are there.

I could have joined other colleges of Rajsthan but I prefered this because: - Oldest university of Rajasthan. - Have a Hostel with large no. of seats. - Kota is a well good city to study. - Placement records are very good.

The Faculty to student ratio is pretty low as there are many there are a lot of experts there for every subject. We can easily approach to the faculty when required and are very friendly. You will have a good interaction with faculties. There are Dr. Ajay Khunteta sir , Dr. Pankaj Shukla sir, Dr. Mithilesh Kumar Sir(HOD ECE DEPT.), Dr. Lokesh Tharani Sir. All are experts of their fields. You have to take 2 midterm exams and 1 end term exam for every subject. Some assignments are also given to help students. 30% marks are of internal assesment and 70% marks are of External Assesment. Course curriculum is up to mark and not so difficult to clear.

There is no GD there admission is based on your score in the UG and 12th. And also there is no Written tests and Interviews. Admission is done through CAM which is an online counselling system organised by RTU and BTU alternately every year.

There is Gym Situated in college campus and many other sports places are there. Hostel timing are 10:30 pm and College campus is well lit and is not so strict around there. It is same to roam around but not near the Chambal River.
