Remarks

I was raised in a way to carry on the tradition which was very popular in my family and it was a IIT tag . It might be said that engineering was in my blood. I wanted to go to IIT Jodhpur from the beginning since I found the university intriguing and the courses offered here are taught using the most up-to-date tools. I enrolled for the M.Tech degree online after receiving my GATE test results.

Course Curriculum Overview

Early days I was facing difficulty in getting the syllabus but Over the course of a few months, we are assigned a large number of tasks in the lab. Authorities urged us to concentrate on the design techniques of another era. Practical exercises made up 80% of our training. Our council's academic staff were some of the best scientists in the world, having worked about some of the most important projects during respective tenure.

Although the batch size in the discipline of Bioscience is smaller, each participant is placed in one or more companies. 83 percent of the pupils were placed in excellent companies. Rs. 45 LPA was the biggest CTC. ISRO, Bharat Petroleum, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Capgemini, Havells, HCL, 1MG, MAQ Software, Crisil, Honda, Zycus, DRDO, Bank of Baroda, and Coal India Ltd were among the 50 firms that visited the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For my household, Rs. 1.32 lakhs which was the fee of the course without any scholarships and it was a reasonable sum. For IIT Jodhpur pupils, there is just one award available: the Merit cum Means scholarship. General and SC/ST students have distinct eligibility requirements for this award. This one has a separate application process than the entrance cost. Banks and other financial entities may also provide financial support to us.

Campus Life

The facility features cutting-edge lectures with presentations and smart screens. The two biggest events for which the whole student body waits are Viasat – the SPICMACAY festival and IGNUS – Institute's Federal yearly techno-cultural-social event. Competitions, activities, entertainment, and other activities are enjoyed by all students and staff members. Through this, I developed a lot of confidence in dealing with peoples.

Campus placement for M.Tech students usually begins in the 3rd semester, allowing students to build their technical knowledge and complete relevant projects. The TPC is active and brings in a mix of core and IT giants and research-driven organizations. QUALCOMM, TEXAS INSTRUMENTS, MICROCHIP, Marvel, Intel, SAMSUNG, and AMAZON regularly visit the campus. The highest package will be 30 LPA, mid and avg are approximately the same, about 24 LPA, approximately 80% students get placed through campus drives, while others pursue Ph.D and research projects. Personally, after completing my degree, I aim to expand my embedded system knowledge to work in the semiconductor industry, while also keeping the option of pursuing doctoral research abroad if the right opportunity arises

An honest review about Fees, Curriculum, Placements and More

Placement Experience:

There were total 11 students in my batch of M.tech AR-VR. From 3rd semter everyone becomes eleigible for the placements. Almost each of the companies related to IT/CS/AI were allowed us to sit for the placements. Almost each of the students who were looking for placements got the opportunity either through campus or non-campus drive. One student got the PhD opportunity. Rest 10 students got some opportunity in different companies on roles like Softawre Development Engineer, Data Scientist, AI Research Engineer, GenAI Engineer, Research Associate etc.

Placement Experience:

In final year of the course, students become eligible for campus placement. Different different streams have there different placement data that is available on college website. The placement percentage is around 80% -90%. Around 10 minimum companies visited in one branch ( EE, ME, CE, CS..). The highest package is in computer science department around 65lpa.

My college life

I choose this college since this is most reputated college in india and IIT is dream of many students in india. I tried to many iits which are better than this but my jee advanced rank made me to come here this is the best affordable college for my rank in the jee advanced 2025 exam. The admission fees after getting admission is 3800 rupees. The cutoff of 2025 for my year is approximately 9000-9400 in all india. Iam proud to being an IITian. Glimpse of iit j

i have applied for IISER bhopal and my rank was enough to clear its cut off but the college was mostly research oriented and i was not intrested in it . i aplied for RVCE banglore it was a fantastic college and i was getting ece branch but i chose iit j beacuse it was a well known government college to get admission you have to secure a rank in JEE advanced exam and your branch is given on cutt of criteria if your AIR is between (100-12000) then you will get admission in iit j and diffrent cut off are made for reservation people...Read More
