IIT Jodhpur Review

I was looking for an IIT college that could fit my budget as IIT college M.Tech programs are very costly but I found IIT Jodhpur which is one of the popular IIT colleges in regards to placement and the college was also budget-friendly for me. I have cleared my GATE exam and I filled the application form for admission from the college website and have to pay 300 rs (at the time of my admission). I was called for GD and PI round. I was able to clear the PI rounds and was allowed admission to the college.

The curriculum was updated to meet the latest industrial standards. The curriculum is as per the IIT quality. The curriculum help us to understand the engineering terms very deeply and in a detailed manner. The college faculty is also good and they help us in each step so that we can understand the concept very clearly. The faculty are not only of Ph.D. level but they also have very good industrial exposure in their respective domain in simple word the faculty is master of their field.

Unlike other IITs, the college provides a good internship program. The internship is a very good option for freshers like us to understand the corporate world working style and to learn and gain professional experience. The stipend for an internship ranges from 25000 to 1,00,000.

The placement of the college as per the standard of IIT and the college does not upset us in terms of placement. The packages offered during the placement time are very attractive. The placement committee plays a very important role during the college placement drive as the whole placement drive is organized by the placement committee and they can invite a good number of companies. The highest package was around 65 LPA and the average package was 15 LPA.

In comparison to other IIT colleges in India, the complete M.Tech program fees are around 1.40 lakh which is very reasonable and the college average salary package is around 12 to 15 LPA which very good return on investment. The college also has scholarship schemes like merit cum means scholarship schemes and scholarships for SC/ST are also provided. The campus is good and very big. The campus is spread over more than 800 acres of land. The annual fests of the college are Aaftab, Ignus, Spandan. The college library is the house of many bestseller national and international authors and international research journals are also available that are very useful during our assignments. The college labs are modern and the college is equipped with all kinds of modern tools. The college campus also has a high-speed WiFi facility for internet connectivity.

The hostel is very clean and neat. The hostel has many good facilities like 24 hours of water and power supply even the hostel campus is available with a high-speed WiFi facility for internet connectivity. The hostel rooms are equipped with AC. The hostel wardens d staff are very cooperative and friendly and they work very hard to maintain the hostel decorum. The hostel mess food quality is good and cooked in every hygienic space. At the price point of 10000, the hostel is worth it.
