- JEE Main 2025 exam dates have been announced for the January Session. The exam is scheduled from January 22 to January 31, 2025. Students seeking admission to B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Planning courses can apply online through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply is November 22, 2024. Only the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates will be eligible to sit for JEE Advanced 2025 (conducted for engineering admission to IITs).

| Eligibility for Admission to B.Tech. Programs | |
| Admissions to B.Tech. Programs are made once a year (in July) through the all-India level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by IITs. The procedures and other requirements for admission are specified in the JEE Information Brochure brought out every year. |

| 1. Reservation of Seats and Admission to Reserved Seats for Indian Nationals | |
| Reservation of seats for the various categories shall be in accordance with the policy of the Government of India. The admission process for the reserved seats is as stated below: | |
| (a) | SC and ST Candidates: Reserved seats are filled on the basis of JEE qualifying norms specified for them. In case these reserved seats remain vacant, other SC and ST candidates (who appeared in JEE and satisfy certain relaxed conditions) are offered admission to the Preparatory Course of one-year duration in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. On completion of the preparatory course and passing of the examination conducted by the Institute, the candidates are offered admission to the first year of B.Tech. Program against the vacant reserved seats of the year of their appearance in JEE. |
| (b) | Other Backward Classes (OBC) Candidates (Not belonging to creamy layer): Reserved seats are filled on the basis of JEE qualifying norms specified for them. |
| (c) | PD Candidates: Reserved seats are filled on the basis of JEE qualifying norms specified for them. In case these reserved seats remain vacant, other candidates in their respective categories are offered admission. |

- College culture is very good. Good junior and senior relation and hierarchy.
- Campus life is fantastic as there are so many club and boards where one with any type of interest can join and enjoy their companies.
Dislikes
- Academics is very hectic as so much classes and lab are there. also branches like electrical Cse have very hard courses.
- Short of coaches are there for some sport are there
Fees and Financial Aid:
Fee per semester(half year): Tution Fee - 100000 semester fee - 27250 Mess fee - 19000 Admission fee- 3800 (at time of admission only). Institute charge - 8000 (at time of admission only) Scholarships: For SC/ST and students with a family income of less than 1 lakh - no tution fee For students with a family income between 1-5 lakh - 1/3rd of the tution fee i.e 33333
Likes
- POC System: After JoSAA rounds a student (2nd year) will call you as a point Point Of Contact(POC) for you till the admission. He/She will guide you seemlessly through the admission proces and address any queries you have about the college.
- Courses are mostly relevent as they are for our professional development like AI,ML,DSA,Communication Skills etc.. and personal development like social connect,humanties etc.
Dislikes
- Quality of infrastructure one of the reasons I have taken the admission but you will realise very soon that it is not as beautifu as you have seen in videos or images.
- If you talk about campus life then it will totally depend on you and your friend circle. If you hve not good friends then you will not have any college life here,because as I said before nobody cares about you much (except your SG).
Fees and Financial Aid:
This is Government college which impplies Tuition fee will rise iff government say otherwise it will not and it has not been hiked since 2016. Rate of such hikes is you can take less than 10%. My Total cost of Education: 8000(one time & refundable),3800(one time),Tution and other fee=12000*8(sems),Hostel fee=7250*8,Mess fee=19000*8 As of All IITs 100% Tuition fee waiver for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Family income<100000 full waiver of tuition fee Family Income<500000 2/3rd of tuition waived off. I have worked as a volunteer under 2 fests Varchas and Prometeo.
Likes
- The Accomodation in IIT JODHPUR, as individual rooms are provided with proper air conditioning.
- The culture of the college is very helpful with zero ragging.
Dislikes
- The lack of vegetations in the campus as it is an desert area.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Fee structure is typical as of an Indian institute of technology. Per semester: INR 19000 for the mess fees. INR 27250 for the hostel and boarding facilities. And INR 100000 as tution fees. (Tuition fees is not applicable for SC/ST and families with income less than 100000)

- Alumni network and senior junior interaction is very good here.
Dislikes
- Coding culture is yet to boom as tech clubs are not that active

Fees here are very nominal if compared to the output it provides. Many scholarships are available for females, ews quota, obc-ncl along with fee remission which makes their fees negligible. Many corporates also give scholarships based on merit.

Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees are low compared to private engineering colleges. The fee structure is available on the official institute website: iitj.ac.in, financially weak families with low annual income satisfying particular criteria are given remission in fees. There is no hike in fee policy for the 4 years in B.Tech. Students with great skills and/or high grades are eligible to apply for TAship (become a Teaching Assistant to professors). They can earn some monthly wage through this in the duration of the course they are becoming TAs.
