- Hostel walls are made up of large stones which helps in insulation from heat
- The campus is pretty big and one can easily roam in the free time

- Problem of water sometimes due to its location
- Mess food is not so good, it is the case for almost all days barring one or two
- Less eateries, but many more things like dominos are coming up now

- The college campus is pretty new and hence the infrastructure are pretty good.
- The mess of IIT Jodhpur is said to be one of the best mess at IITs.
- The presence of ACs in every building makes this place comfortable for students.

- The courses here are very much focussed on students who want to go for research and ignores those who want to get into corporate or any other domain.
- The campus is very away from the city which makes the commute for small things to city very difficult
- There are frequent power cuts here and makes it impossible yo survive in summer.

- The campus is nearly 900 acres. Filled with lot of amenities like sports grounds, indoor sports facilities, in-campus shops for daily amenities along with food courts with vendors like zorko.
- All the students are provided with single rooms with AC in each room. The room is spacious enough to accommodate a single person. Hostels also have open space for multipurpose usage and a vending machine in nearly every hostel.
- The college fests and events are something to admire. Events are well-planned and managed by students community with EDM and DJ nights, along with some famous artists being called like Shirley Setia, Salim-Suleiman etc.
Dislikes
- Some of the faculties are not good here. Some of them are very rude to students, and is difficult to connect with them when its of utmost need.
- Here, the mess food is very bad. The food is literally tasteless, with breakfast being the only tasty meal of the day. Hygiene is also an issue here, with the mess having bad odor.
- During the past couple of months there's been frequent power cuts as well as shortage of water supply. The campus authorities do not even inform students beforehand regarding such activities.

- Mess food only for south students,mostly mess food items are northern side.
- Campus is away from the city,although college provides transportation every day to city

- One of the best thing of the college is the college itself since it is an IIT. Also its campus area is big enough with good infrastructure. There is a clock tower at the campus which is like a memorable point and new buildings are also made.
- Other than infrastructure the administration of our college has taken good measures to ensure flora and fauna around campus. Although we are in region with shortage of water but then also there is good vegetation. we also have deers in campus.
- Apart from that the administration is very good and responsive. There is also student council which make it easier for us to overcome any issue weather it is personal or academics related.
Dislikes
- The campus area is big enough but since it is not very old college there are not as much infrastructure as it could be there.
- The college is very far from the city which make it difficult for us to go to city and enjoy. And the college bus that is scheduled is less frequent and fare of auto is too much.
- Since the college is far from city delivery of zomato and swiggy are not done in campus which sometime make it difficult, although we have restaurant inside but it is expensive.
