Both IIT Mandi Patna and IIT Jodhpur are well-respected institutions for mechanical engineering. However, it ultimately depends on which one aligns better with your personal preferences and career goals. IIT Mandi Patna has a strong focus on research in the areas of energy, materials, and manufacturing, whereas IIT Jodhpur has a wider approach to mechanical engineering and has ties with many leading companies across the globe. Personally, I am more in favor of IIT Jodhpur. I have a few pieces of information regarding IIT Jodhpur Mechanical Engineering. IIT Jodhpur provides an opportunity to go for an industrial summer internship in the first year itself. Companies that recruit students for internships are Mahindra & Mahindra, TATA Motors, TVS, L&T, and others. IIT Jodhpur IIP or the Industrial Immersion Programme offers an insight into the industry and allows you to take projects of Industrial interest as your B. Tech. Project. IIT Jodhpur faculty is very much research-oriented, especially in the fields of thermal, robotics, and materials and manufacturing. This gives the students an opportunity to pursue a master's or PhD after graduation under their mentorship. Ultimately, I can only guide you and it’s you who has to make the decision. It's best to do your own research and visit the campuses to get a feel for the culture and atmosphere of each institution. Which is better, CSE from MNIT Jaipur or mechanical from IIT Jodhpur?

It depends on what it is that you want as both are different subjects. It depends on your preference. According to my cousin who studied CSE at MNIT, if you want a challenging job and you are aiming for PSUs, then mechanical engineering may be good. But the placements of mechanical even in top colleges like IITs will be lower than their CSE counterparts. If you like corporate sector private jobs in the IT or software sector, then CSE at MNIT Jaipur is a very good option. Campus placements will be much easier with packages far higher than mechanical. This does not mean that CSE is an easy subject. It can be difficult especially if you do not have a coding background in your class 11th and 12th. For that, you need to put extra effort during your graduation. Fees and Financial Aid:

Tution=1 lakh Hostel= 7K Mess= 19 K Rest it depends on vendor and type of course. Mtech has little more mess charge than UG students. There is some increment on price every year but you can avail the scholarship from the college using your income certificate.

I don't like college time table it is not good there are 2 hours gap between every class.

The tution fees for obc students is 100000 rupees and for sc/st students there is no tution fees, admission fees is 3800,mess fees is 19000 rupees. If the students family income is less than 100000 then he/she will get full refund of tution fees. If the income range is in between 100000 and 500000 then he/she gets 67,000 rupees refund as fees reimbursement.The fee structure of obc students is almost same as general. The convocation fees is 3000 rupees and the semester fees is 27,250 rupees, refundable deposits are 8000 rupees

I have BTech 4 year course and each year I have to pay around 100000rs . The tusion fee is free because my cast is sc . 3800 admission fee. And 38000rs per year mess fee and 550000rs per year course fee.

The fee structure of iit Jodhpur The tution fee for a year for a b.tech student is 2,00,000? Of 2 semester. And Other academic fee is around 10,000-20,000? Per year it includes exam fee and library fee. Hostel fee is around 20,000?.

IIT Jodhpur - Good or Bad?

For the first semester fees is around 1 lakh 46 thousand . So basically around 3 lakhs per year. For the SC/ST the fees is around 50000 per semester(admission fee, lab fee, development fee are included in it). I am from general so I paid around 1 lakh 46 thousand for the semester and students from the reserved category and ews paid around 50000 per sem There are scholarships for the economic weaker section whose income is less than 1 lakh per year the whole fee of the student is rebated . Whose income is less than 4 lakh per annum 2/3 fee is rebated. And there are scholarships from the private companies as well such as Airtel, reliance,etc.

All you need to know about IIT Jodhpur

I am paying around 1,46,000rs as fees it includes all mess fees, tution fees and hostel fees. I pay 1 lakh rs as tution fees, 19,000 as mess fee and 27,250 as hostel and other fees. If you are sc, st then there will be no tutuion fees for you but you have to pay for mess and hostel. For non sc/st candidates if your parent's income is less than 1 lakh then all tution fees will be waived off if it's between 1-5 lakh 66% will be waived off but if your parent's income is more than 5 lakh you have to pay full fees. Other private scholarships form also float and information regarding that will be floated on your mail. The fees for complete course will be around 10-12 lakhs without any waiver.

Indepth review

The course that are offered by the college is again a best thing you are not bound to do only you branch course but you can opt for minor degree in any other branch.
College attendance policy is very best, there is no 75% criteria but, if attendance is low than 75% then you have to score atleast C grade to pass the course.

For general/ obc students if your parents income is less than 1 lakhs. For you also tution fees is 0. 3. For general obc students if your parents income is between 1lac to 5lac total of 2/3 to tution fees is off for you 4. For more than 5 lakh you have to pay whole fee.

IIT Jodhpur-Jewel in Desert

The overall fee that is to be paid is around 14 lakh for a general candidate whose household income is more than 5 lakh per annum, the scholarships are also provided on the basis of household income by the institute itself. There are numerous other scholarships that are also provided which include the Aditya Birla Scholarship program, the Tata Scholarship for girls, and many more. The fee hike is not so often. But overall the fee is a bit higher than usual.

Brief review of IITJ

Tuition fees almost remain the same but hostel and medical fees used to increase by roughly 10%. Yes, there were fee waivers and scholarships available for the students who were eligible. Most scholarships depend on the family income or the category/caste and state you belong to. I don't have many details to deliver as it was specific to a specific person. As per my case, I didn't avail any.
