200000 is the yearly tution fees, there are some other fees like semester fees which includes all the other charges like hostel and miscellaneous things which is around 30000. For SC,ST and EWS with income less than 5 lakhs candidates there is no tution fees. Apart from this, there is a seperate fees for mess which is currently around 20000 for each semester.

As a student belonging to the General Category, I pay 127250 INR per semester as my tuition fees along with 19000 INR as the mess fees. The total amount of 146250 is to be paid all-together before the starting of the semester. As for the students belonging to SC/ST category. there are various schemes that the State as well as the central government provide like NSP(National Scholarship Portal) and many more. There are various scholarship given to girls, those who are academically high performers as well as those who are from economically weaker backgrounds. Along with that, the college provides laptop to the top-20 rankers in the JEE Advanced examination.

How good is IIT Jodhpur

The exam system is not conventional in the form of the typical "mid-sem and end-sem" format rather the exams are conducted thrice in the semester in the form of minor-1, minor-2 and majors.
One other thing I hated about this college was that the academics are hectic and take a toll on the wellbeing of the student as one has to grind non stop the whole semester.

I am not aware about the tuiton fee increase policy but the current tuiton fees is 100000 Rs. per semester. The hostel and mess charges along with other utilities cost 19000 Rs in total per semester. They are other non-refundables and emergency payments given at the beginning of your first semester. There are very less campus employment opportunities her in IIT Jodhpur. There are a lot of scholarships available about which you keep recieveing emails about.

* fees for sem is almost 1.5lacks (including hostel fee) *Scholarship is income wise . If less than lack there give 1 lack per sem ,for 1 to 5 lack 66thousands .for more than 5 lacks there is no scholarship and jobs is college placement.

Great campus life

The fee structure is sometimes much but it is worth the placements. The placements are good so fees for 4 months as 1 lac is worth it. The total fee for the semester is around 1200000 lacs along with mess and hostel fees.

IITJ is Very Good

Well, The Tuition fee for each semester is 1,00,000. We have to pay around 27k as a semester fee which includes room rent, laundry, and medical. etc. charges, aside from that we have to pay a mess fee, which is around 128 per day (around 3840 per month). Almost all IITs have similar fee structures. SC /ST and also students whose family income is less than 1,00,00 per year don't need to pay the tuition fee and students having family income between 1 lakh and 5 lacs have to pay only 33% of the tuition fee. We have Canara Bank and SBI branches inside the campus itself where we can avail of the education(scholar) loan.

Great Internships !!

The fees has been constant for the last few years and I think will remain so for the nexr 2-3 years. Merit Cum Means scholarship is offered to many deserving students and the Institution will reduce fees substanially if the student is unable to pay fees. We get internships in 3rd year and usually students get a paid very well with some of them getting 7-8 lakhs in an intern abroad.

Eligibility for Admission to B.Tech. Programs
Admissions to B.Tech. Programs are made once a year (in July) through the all-India level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by IITs. The procedures and other requirements for admission are specified in the JEE Information Brochure brought out every year.

1. Reservation of Seats and Admission to Reserved Seats for Indian Nationals
Reservation of seats for the various categories shall be in accordance with the policy of the Government of India. The admission process for the reserved seats is as stated below:
(a)	SC and ST Candidates: Reserved seats are filled on the basis of JEE qualifying norms specified for them. In case these reserved seats remain vacant, other SC and ST candidates (who appeared in JEE and satisfy certain relaxed conditions) are offered admission to the Preparatory Course of one-year duration in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. On completion of the preparatory course and passing of the examination conducted by the Institute, the candidates are offered admission to the first year of B.Tech.
