IIT Jodhpur Review

I was looking for a college with good placement for CSE as very few colleges in India provides good CSE programs and placement for CSE. During my research, I found IIT Jodhpur is popular for its placement for the CSE program and good educational structure. So I decided to take admission to IIT Jodhpur. To be part of IIT Jodhpur I have to pass the GATE exam and must have a minimum of 60% marks in my bachelor's degree. To fill the admission form I have to visit the college official website and pay the application fee of Rs. 300. After getting shortlisted we have to appear for the written test and PI round.

The college curriculum is according to the latest and international industrial norms and standards. One of the plus points of the curriculum is that it is flexible. The curriculum is designed to expand our knowledge by making the curriculum flexible so that we can not only learn about our syllabuses but can also learn about the core concepts of machine learning, Data structures and algorithm.

We are eligible for an internship program after completing 3 years of our program. The college placement committee helps us to identify the companies for internships. The stipends depend according to the tenure of the internship it also varies from company to company but it usually ranges from Rs. 25k to 1 lakh. Around 25+ companies visited the campus for the internship programs.

The college has a good placement record. I also joined the college because of its placement record. The has a 100% placement record. The college committee of the college is very supportive they totally guides us during every placement round. The highest package for our batch was around 25 LPA and the average package was around 12 LPA. Companies like 1MG, MAQ Software, Crisil, Honda, Zycus, DRDO, Bank of Baroda, Coal India Ltd, Microsoft, Google, etc visited the campus during the college placement drive.

The college provides scholarships on a merit basis. Scholarship to SC/ST/PWD is also available. The loan facility is also available and the loan process is completed through the help of the college admission department. The campus life of the college is good and fun. IGNUS, Nimble, Virasaat are the popular fests of the college. The college classrooms are big and properly ventilated. The fest and competition in the college are organised by the student clubs. The college also provides a WiFi facility around the campus. The college administrative staff is very cooperative and friendly. The library is equipped with modern seating arrangements and all the academics and non-academics books are available and international journals are also available.

The hostel is well maintained and the rooms are big and properly ventilated. The rooms are equipped with beds, almirahs and study tables for each student. The hostel mess food is good and tasty. The menu is very vast and keeps on changing. The hostel provides 24 hours power supply and high-speed WiFi connectivity. LAN connection is also available in the hostel rooms for internet connectivity. The hostel also has a lift for our convenience. The hostel staff and warden are very professional and friendly. The hostel provides us with all kinds of facilities. At this price point of Rs 10000/- the hostel is really worth it.

The faculty of the college are mostly young and PhD level. The faculty are friendly and cooperative we can approach the faculty at any time to clear our doubts and they also help us with any problem.
