College has crossed the 10 years after its establishment. Faculty here are helpful and supportive. Infrastructure is improving day by day. Guest faculties have also helped a lot in understanding the industry.

Coming from a hardcore manufacturing background, the role demanded to be a mediator between technicians/operator and the HR department and acting as a frontline HR for the technicians. This over a course of time developed interest and also some empathy towards people demands and needs.Indians institute of Management Ranchi being the only IIM to offer specification in HR and the fastest rising IIM amongst the new IIMs was the go to target and so prepared myself to give interview communicating as if already an HR, with confidence and a constant smile.This my interest for human resource management, and the college's excellent curriculum and strong academic foundation was the best place to build on my interest and leverage on my skills

When deciding on the college, You have to take numerous factors into consideration starting from its reputation, fees, placement Statistics, location to its course offerings and the overall environment within the institution. After consulting with knowledgeable people in this regard, I felt that IIM RANCHI was the best option suitable to my requirements.

There were several factors, priority wise placements was the first factor & being in the top 20 institutes of country was real cheer to study here. Secondly, I choose PGDM program because of the course structure and I want to move out of professional field in which I pursued my UG. Most importantly its always a great opportunity to study in a institute where you get diversity and learn a lot more from your peers instead of just confining it to classes.

Decent Placements and good Academic focus of the Institute as compared to the other offers I had.Also, the diversity in terms of gender and academics at IIM Ranchi is quite appreciable. Also, the fee of the Institute when compared to the other alternate options was less at IIM Ranchi.

For working executives IIM ranchi has its own college screening & admission process. Consisting of written test ,interview and other screening processes.

In short, a good academic institution with good faculties and appropriate course structure. Student council activities gives a platform for the student to indulge in all college activities.
